Ok, I just catched up on this project and didn't read everything before, but IMO we should do better graphics than ASCII art as axe makes it easy and axe is made by our community. I mean, here are a lot of axe programmers and you could do more awesome stuff then (4-level greyscale? :D, smooth scrolling etc.)

Another concern I have is about people who want to make a third-party CAS for models that have no CAS. I wonder if TI and Casio would appreciate, since if those calcs have no reliable PTT/Teacher mode, then the calc wouldn't be allowed to any test that disallows calcs with a CAS.
I havent met a teacher yet who knows about the PTT features.
