Zildian cymbals are nice, and Pearl drum sets could be pretty cheap and are worth the price. I recomend spending most of that money on a descent bass drum, snare, and cymbals/high-hat. That's really what you need to get started.

We didn't pay 25k at any point, neither did our grandfather, at this point in time though we could sell it for that much.
Back on topic or I'll get my knife.

My brother plays drums and my grandpa used to be a profesional drummer who gave my little brother one of his drum sets. It's actually worth about 25K and sounds awsome. I'd recomend getting a drum teacher but if you have freinds who play drums that you can ask questions to and are willing to spend some money on books you can get pretty good self teaching. Not really sure about sets by price range though though... if you want I can talk to my brother about it for you.

xlibman, remember the program I sent you when I decided to become a staff member, that was made for a two hour speed contest. I beleive AlienCC set up a clock so it timed how much time was left and stopped accepting entries after the timer ran out so he didn't necicarilly have to be there. There have been three of these so far hosted on UTI, and except for the third (which had one entry) they were all fun, exciting and successful.

Mine is gone because my old website is down I'm to lazy to put it back up. Yeah, I intend to eventually host my avatar someplace else though (or maybe get a new one).

Right click, click view pick, follow the link to view his avatar. You appear not to be able to see it normally, at least most of us.

I know Lunar Wolf Demon for school, but he was only active on UTI for around a month so I guess he doesn't really count.

Really the best way to save games and programs with most teachers is to just store everything to archive, it's very rare that they know how to clear it or even that it exists.

Yup, mountains. I'm trying to become a Catskill 35er which has been a HUGE deal for me since I was little and after this trip I will be almost done. Yay me!

Tommorow I am leaving for the Catskills, which is the begining of a long train of events involving me not being here or near a computer. In six days I will return for at most a week, after which I will be gone for almost all of August. I promise I will return, and as well, bring my calculator and several sets of spare batteries where I am going to work on my projects. Before I go I would like to thank several people:
Weregoose, Liazon, Radical Pi: I learned all the basics and more of BASIC from you guys. CDI, AlienCC (this applys to everyone but you two in perticular): Being kind to me on those days I forgot to take my medication (you know what I'm talking about). ProgramerToBe: Help putting together Vomp in a downloadable version (although without many downloads (and I think your vote)). SilverCalcKnight: Keeping me from slacking off on my projects (I have a program I will send you on the brief few days I will be back later this week). xlibman: You knew I was leaving in Augest and I would like to thank you for excepting me here on Omnimaga Everyone Else: Thank you for everything that you have done for me. I cannot go through the list of everyone I need that deserves this thanks, but you know who you are and well, thank you.
My main regret is not getting TI-Connect or any other similar software to work in order to play many games, but in perticular, Metroid Pure, as well as not having a single released project. Have a good summer and after a few more days I'll see you when school starts!

I think Hex2Sprite and Sprite2Hex would make a usefull flash application for those who know how (which would not be me since I don't), you could even have support for four level grayscale.
