updated the "online" BM a bit... ATTR-screen works now, and moved the Attribute-distribution screen from the menu to the beginning (new game) and whenever you level up...

http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/379/37937.html is a new Asm library for Basic programmers...
Size: about 1800 on-calc
functions: almost everything from battery check over ON-block disabeling and prgm-checks (Asm/BASIC, in archive/unarchived, usble shell for checked prgm: ION/Mirage...) to free RAM/ROM, OS version and calc verson (83+/83+SE/84s/84+SE), I only miss the rectangle function...

no really... what I do for batlles is specify which pics contain the needed sprites, then while the screen is cleared, I set the contrast to zero and recall the pics with Zpic and store them into Pic-9, then: clear the screen and reset the contrast to whatever it was before... it
