I'd like to see that at decent speed.
I tried it with TDCoder, but it always turned out too slow for my taste. Well, I only have a 83+... on an SE or 84 it'd be a lot faster.

« on: December 04, 2006, 04:34:00 am »eeek... really bad news. the TI86 has no archive if I recall. that's why I do daily backups of my calc and while programming I backup every 3-4 hours. It is really dicouraging to see something you have worked on for so long suddenly dissapear .___.
I hope you still have a rough sketch of how you did the programs in your mind.

If I'll get a lappy it'd have to be able to run most current games at decent speed...

I myself still have a CRT, and it's ok... save for the random screen failures I am getting.
CRTs do provide a better screen quality, but are bulky and heavy.
LCDs on the other hand are easier for the eyes and not as heavy and big, but only work good when set to max. resolution, else the OSD has to do interpolation. Which is crap.
So over all, I still like LCDs better. Must get one. Screen slowly failing. help my comp! ^^'
