Miscellaneous / Hello and goodbye« on: October 31, 2007, 12:12:00 pm »
Haven't been posting here in a long long time... I've read some topics from time to time, though
Still I think I owe you the knoweledge of what I'm about to do: At November the 3rd of 2007, I'll be out of the country for approx. 2 months. I will visit the Philippines, visit relatives, look into university life and roam around the country. I should come back around January the 15th of 2008. I will have internet access, but I won't have a flatrate or broadband, so I won't be able to idle around the #omnimaga channel in IRC ^^ I will upload some pics and comment on them. Until then, happy programming, and hf! Random stuffz: What is a tear? An expression of pain as the world's moving by. Mortal agony shaped into a crystalline cry. So tender, so pure, so easy to shed Upon reminiscing what I once thought I had. 48
General Discussion / Do u like christian Rock« on: July 21, 2007, 06:34:00 am »
Most christian rock songs stuff I've heard so far are extremely straight-forward... reciting bible verses, simple stories, and the like. Too simple-minded for my taste.
I _do_ like some christian heavy metal bands, however... growl for redemption 49

storing stuff back in would be nice, too ^^ xCM is taking form... it crashed my calc once, probably something with xLib. Oh, and I scrapped the tooltip feature, it is too slow. 52

Just wondering... is there an equivalent in for the command "sub(", which is used with strings, but for lists?
Using a custom routine for that is kinda... uber slow. 53

xCM (xLib Custom Menu) is working so far, no crashes yet
what it can do now: -Load menu titels/non-interactive objects (any object that can be done with the real(12-command) interactive objects (so far: menu items) and their corresponding coordinates from a predefined list + string -display them what it will do when done: -the above + -manouvering between menu items -when clicking an item (2nd/Enter) it will send information about what to do next to a variable -when manouvering between menu items additional information may pop up (tooltip/details) I hope to get that done eficciently enough so it's not overly slow on a 83+ o.o Wish me luck. :knight: 59

My current PC is and AMD + Radeon (now AMD, too) and I never had significant problems with it. A BIOS crash is all, but that was because of the motherboard revision, one BIOS flash later all was ok. Go Go AMD! *waves flag* Neat graphics card you got there ^^ 60
