TI Calculators / Re: copy the nspire cx rom to my pc?« on: April 11, 2014, 04:50:13 am »How to copy the nspire cx rom to my pc to use the emulator kArmTI/?Hi ohmit89, Sometime ago i wrote a quick-start documentation series for kArmTI. In the first part, it's explained which TI files are required to run the emulator, and where and how you can get them. Have a look here: http://www.omnimaga.org/ti-nspire-projects/karmti-ti-nspire-emulator-with-skin-16585/msg310827/?PHPSESSID=lulj108jm2vvk131f2mev71891#msg310827 and see it helps you. 291

News / Re: TI really buys Omnimaga: more details« on: April 03, 2014, 09:51:42 am »
Well, i think some@TI must be thinking i wish i had that much money as Google (who's trying to buy any profitable moving soul everywhere...). I'd say, f***k TI, Google and like. Let's stay together for another thirteen years, just for for the hell of it, we need to enjoy some freedom over here to survive. Nice April's fool joke, btw.
Everything looks so different with SMF 2.0Yeah but Eeems&Co keep on improving the new SMF 2.0 theme, though. It's getting better and better everyday, imho. Edit (Eeems): merged double post 293

News / Re: The "New Posts" feature is back!« on: March 23, 2014, 05:16:30 am »
Yeah, i really missed that feature, i'm glad that it is back. Around here we have an old saying that goes more less like this: "If a team (or formula) is winning why change it?"
Also, a bit off-topic, but i've been tempted to put this question to web developers and/or site administrators (Eeems, Geekboy, Sorunome, other) : 'How difficult would it be to provide local storage for posts's inline (not attached) images ?' The reason for asking has to do with the fact that all pictures' servers i've choosen to date always end-up vanishing from scene after sometime together with my dear stuff . Any workaround up your sleeves? 295

TI-Nspire / Re: nSpiKx - TI-Nspire emulator for Mac OS X (Cocoa)« on: March 22, 2014, 01:01:07 pm »I have succeeded booting OS with TICXCAS-3.6.0.550.tcc installed OS on kArmTI on Windows 8 and Mavericks OSX 10.9.2 .Great, you are a clever guy! Quote how to edit skin on MacOSX as Windows? Hope you could help me. Thanks a lot!Sorry, you can't! nSpiKx is not as developed as kArmTI! I mean, there's no skin editor for nSpiKx. However, you can play around a bit with the frame colors. Quote Moreover, could you reupload the download link for nSpiKx version 0.51? Thanks a lot!Well, the attachment-download link on this page: http://www.omnimaga.org/ti-nspire-projects/nspikx-ti-nspire-emulator-for-mac-os-x-(cocoa)/msg341638/#msg341638 is working just fine! Anyway, here it goes again: nSpiKx_v05_1.zip: http://www.omnimaga.org/ti-nspire-projects/nspikx-ti-nspire-emulator-for-mac-os-x-(cocoa)/?action=dlattach;attach=14861 Also, do not expect a lot from nSpiKx, because it's very much a project (now suspended for sometime...) in its early development stages. Thanks for your interest. Hope it helps. 297
TI-Nspire / Re: nSpiKx - TI-Nspire emulator for Mac OS X (Cocoa)« on: March 19, 2014, 11:15:57 am »Dear sir, could you share me link for download and guide to install on osx? Thanks a lot!Hi (again) tien_huu, The answer for nSpiKx will be roughly the same as i gave you for kArmTI. Actually, the start-up procedure is roughly the same as in kArmTI, and you should be able to use the karmti-quick-start guides. In the future, please always refer to the first page of a given topic, maybe you can find extra info there... I like your interest in the calc emulators and wish you a nice stay at Omnimaga where you find a lot of friendly people . 298
TI-Nspire / Re: kArmTI - TI-Nspire emulator with skin« on: March 19, 2014, 11:13:57 am »Dear sir, could you help me install os, my kArmTI stop when copying factory image. I am using cmdline asrecommended. Could you give me a clear guide for starting up os?Could you send me the right boot1 boot2 image and corresponding tcc?Hi tien_huu, welcome to Omnimaga, i hope you will like it here. Regarding kArmTI, please refer to the first post of this thread. There you can find links to (a lot of) documentation on how to quick-start with karmti. I guess most of the links do already work as expected (after the recent Omnimaga's site upgrade effort). Unfortunately, we cannot distribute the boot1 and boot2 images, but a lot has been written about this subject already on this thread. Please take some time to read thru some of the replies and i'm sure you be smart enough to find your way using some of the tips. Otherwise, always recall Google can be your friend (at times!) . Have a nice day, 299

Hey, how's the attachment update going? As i understand, now only logged-in ppl can download. Is that the intended final solution? I mean, guest users can no longer see/download attachments, that will certainly decrease the # of downloads, 'cause some won't even bother to log-in.
PS: I miss the feature: who's reading the topic, 'cause it decreases user's interaction, imho. |
