Ok, how the hell is this possible, when doing a backup of my other files i randomley looked at the terminal output - and aparently my desktop got moved into my jedi academy source folder O.O HOW THE HAY is that possible O.O
Anyways, the good news is that i still have all the files then! :D
I told'ya, after a couple of scary days you just might get lucky! Good to hear. Now you can get some extra sleep.

Topic title should have been "TI-Connect is a piece of garbage", ...
LOL, do you mean "TI-Connect is a piece of s**t" ? :-\

Yeeeah! Keoni29 knows the whole story, he's just trying to get someone to do work for him ::). Fair enough. Btw, sound would be great, indeed. Any inspired programmer feeling the challenge out there?

Okay, the update that is going to come out in the next couple of days is:
...
Any small suggestions from the community will be added if they are posted here! Ask away, and I'll code it!
This game will eventually recenter attention on nspire+ndless (after some doom days).  In the absence of sound, maybe a list of some 'encouraging' status messages would bring some more salt and pepper. Good update contents. Can't wait to give it another try.

... I know that the 84+CSE lacks functions, which requires you to use external sub-routines or extra variables.
Well, this is really ancient programming practice, imho, hence my astonished question.

Now i understand why you were so silent (but logged-in) a couple of days ago. Good job!

I'm not an expert in the gaming arena but this does look rather good me! I know you're already over the top in points terms, +1 nevertheless. ;)
As a side note, BUT, BUT what do you mean by: "I hope that HP calcs supports functions with arguments ..." What?? O.O

well, i'm afraid there aren't, unfortunately, any free lunches out there! you'll need to either google for it or write your own (probably faster, i dunno). It may take a while but it may be worth it. keep being resilient and eventually you'll manage to recover the important stuff. I been there too (sort of, my brand new HD simply crashed - but only some of the disk sectors were damaged). i went 'crazy' for a couple of days. After the disaster i keep backing-up the important (programming) stuff much more often.

This is really very annoying! You need to make sure you are not using a hacked-skype version. I've heard of similar problems happening before, for instance here: http://community.skype.com/t5/Mac/Skype-on-Linux-hacked-major-security-flaw/td-p/1562675 .
Good luck with your hard drive recovery. :(

This sounds interesting although a bit too technical for many of the users. As you seem to be mostly interested in performance, i would suggest you carry out some benchmarking and then try to 'sell it' afterwards. Good luck with it. :)

The Axe Parser Project / Re: Axe dissasembler
« on: November 09, 2013, 09:19:37 am »
So all this does is convert an existing prog to its hex? Because i thought decompiling was a bit more ???
And it is, in general! So, do not despair. ;)
That, i would call simply an object code dumper. A disassembler converts binary to assembly mnemonics (a bit more useful).
A decompiler 'tries' to retrieve the source statements of an higher-level language such as 'C', by inspecting and converting the binary.

Today I am pleased to present a historical picture :P
...
Thanks for the nice chart/graph. I wonder, wouldn't that be possible to make it more lively (with a little of javascript help, perhaps). I mean, clicking on a calc model would show up its picture. That would be even nicer! ;)
Tip: Click image and get coordinates with Javascript

Well, i gave it a try! Alas, it made me feel too clumsy as a player. The longest time i've managed to last was only about 5 secs ("YOU LASTED 4.11 seconds!, ACHHHH! Frustrating.:banghead:). How can we make it slower during the learning process? Entertaining nevertheless. Any clues how to play it?
