Damn what happened to backward compatibility? If a newer OS should come across setAlpha maybe it should ignore it and continue running the program, instead of throwing a program ending error?
Yeah, market share hegemony make some behave very oddly indeed, ie not abiding by the very basic rules. :P

Yeah I agree. These days we are forced to read a lot of crap only meaningful for the developer and not so much for the end-user. Therefore, an installer is by far preferable. Go ahead for it! BTW, what's your (nice) target programming platform that allows TI-BASIC and ASM mixing?

Yeah, this very morning we've had a nasty user ('naharensthelm') flooding the site with lots of silly posts and as a matter of fact all mods were asleep because they all live on the other side of the Atlantic. Suggestion: try to engage some european guy as a mod too ('Sorunome' wouldn't mind, i guess)!

Well, why is that still happening? Two possibilities come to my mind:
* Your username being "DJ Omnimaga" may lead some people think that you still are the real Disc Jockey (DJ) of Omnimaga as you once were. (Ninja'd!)
* Some users may only be asking for advice due to your seniority.
I do understand, however, that too many requests easily become a PITA. :P

It's been a while since i've last posted here any programming stuff. So, today I am posting an update to the kArmTI's Help file which includes the AVI Capture tool and the UsbExplorer. At the same time i'm enclosing a tiny update to kArmTI-v.150 with mostly cosmetic issues but also a 'Skins Previewer' and a minor improvement to the usbexplorer host-side to make it easier to browse up and down the directories. Please have a look at the Help HTML file for some new screenhots. As usual, give it a try and report back any eventual new issues.

Hi Nosferatu, nice to see you've logged in after a longish absence.
One of my particular testing was the CAS capabilities of HP Prime, so far I discovery that is the very first retail calculator that use the Residue Theorem to solve some integrals, which is great.
And also the  HP Prime supports some special functions in integrals and derivatives, but so far the capabilities is still a little beyond the Maxima resources.

Follow-up questions: What's the HP Prime today's cheapest price in the States? Is there anyone (in the usa) willing to receive it at home?
Suppose that, that someone can afford about a 100 bucks, just for the hell of it (i hope corporations are listening  ;) ).
