The last of the two 61 buses heading there is at 9:15 AM. In order to catch it, I had to catch the 7:15 AM L-2 bus and the 87 at 8 AM. ...
Hey, that's a lot of bus riding indeed! I wonder, how safe is it after all we've heard/seen lately on a bus in Toronto?

Thanks for the skins SpiroH!
You're welcome! Question: does kArmTI run with the /W command-line flag on by default. Every time I boot the 3.0.0 CX CAS DEVBUILD boot1, the emulator issues a warning (as does nspire_emu) and I have to enter 'c' in the debugger to keep booting.
I'm sorry, but i don't think i can help you with that 'boot1 3.0.0 CX CAS'. Actually, i don't own it so i could not test it. So far, the only version of CX CAS boot1 that i've tested is version 3.0.99. Also, I take it that 3.0.0 boot1 can't boot later 3.x boot2s?
Yeah, i gather there's been some boot1 changes, but then again i'm not an expert on this version-tracking stuff. Maybe some other people, like Goplat can provide further input (?). In the meantime, try to find a more up-todate boot1, if you can . Cheers,

That one looks pretty nice actually, although I think it would be nice if the ALPHA buttons were blue-green-ish instead of brown to match the rest.
Actually they were as you say in the first version. The reason why i've changed is due to the feedback 'keyboard overlay marker' which is lime-green for all keys and as such not very outstanding when over the blue-green-ish alpha-keys. that's why

Hi DoctorWkt, Welcome to Omnimaga! Here are a couple of skins in landscape mode. They are homemade but they should suit your needs. I'm showing off only the clickpad (750x450).

1. Ok, probably the good link is this: http://realterm.sourceforge.net/index.html#Command_Line_Parameters . Look at the commandline parameter 'DATA'. It should allow you to specify the data-bits+parity+stop-bits. I guess, that's what you are looking for. 2. I understood you intended to configure the serial i/o port to use from within some program of yours. That's why i've mentionned it would be easier to program the UART-port in code rather than using an 'external program' (RealTerm in this case), provided you have the eZ8 UART docs. IMO, try to sort it out first with RealTerm and later write a small routine that initializes the UART. Little endian with 8-bits? I don't get it, sorry. Cheers,

Willrandship, Spyro and I are trying to figure out how to program an eZ8 microcontroller. It can be done via the on-chip debugger, but we'd have to set up a UART like this: Is this possible with realterm or should willranship write his own software in python. (I can do it in C too)
Just browsing thru the 'ReaTerm' Readme: http://sourceforge.net/projects/realterm/files/Realterm/2.0.0.70/ it seems possible, indeed. BTW, any serial communications program should allow that else is not good enough. BOTOH, why bother to use an external program when you can do it with C or with inline assembly, with just a few code lines? My 2 cents,

It's been a while since I used this...
Yeah, actually you were the first kArmTI guinea-pig back in february 2012 (IIRC), version v1.13. I know, your support has already caused you some minor frictions here and there. It's never too late to thank you again.

Does anybody know how much it will cost? About the same as a Nspire CX CAS.
Thanks, but that's still rather expensive, i gather! Maybe northern_snow will manage to get some for us at China's price. Who knows about the future? I already order some items from China every now and then .

EDIT: On a semi-offtopic note, why is there no TI-84 Plus C (color) Silver Edition reference nor info on TI-BD?
I think it is because none of the main contributors have one yet
Let's hope some TI observer will offer them a 'sample' as an advertisement investment. In general, the site is quite good but it's a shame that is becoming a bit outdated.

Ok, given that nobody so far is asking the about the 'dear thing', i dare to ask: Does anybody know how much it will cost? BTW, the emulator is huge! (the installer is about 48MB?). I wonder what's is inside, maybe hundred plus languages, plus what? Anyway, it looks promissing and nice but IMHO the price will be the decisive factor, as usual .

Here's for the Omnimaga's ever growing portuguese community and for the rest of the world buddies too, an excerpt of the portuguese Poetry and Music. The fantastic 'Fausto Bordalo Dias': PS: I'm afraid 'Google Translate' can't read Poetry...

What else can we say about r2r ladders? We're talking about digital to analogue and vice versa converters.
Well, why do you bother to build yourself such a thing? If that's only for learning purposes i can take that, but otoh the simulator ouput should be enough. Else why don't you just buy an off-the-shelf component (dac/adc) with much higher resolution/precision and smaller footprint? FYI R-2R networks are normally built with integrated matched resistor values. Building it with discrete components is doomed to failure. Cheers,
