You should have a mode where the ball goes is traced and stays on the screen and that would make an epic drawing program.

Ooh just figured out how to type programs!

You have to type numbers in front of the commands, like so:

10 PRINT "ENTER A NUMBER"
20 INPUT A
30 PRINT "TYPE ANOTHER NUMBER"
40 INPUT B
50 C=A+B
60 PRINT C
RUN

Run is crucial, as it runs the program.

Yay if I get a C64c this will be so helpful becuase I'm learning BASIC right now!

I've played around a little bit with an emu and it was cool ;D

Useless: This was fun, you never know if it was a syntax error or not:

PRINT "?SYNTAX ERROR"
?SYNTAX ERROR

SO umm, how do you write programs? And how do you run programs?

I've been thinking about getting a Commodore 64c - I've always been interested in old electronics and games.
So what do you think?
It's all BASIC - I'm learning BASIC, and this would be awesome.

Oh looky: A C64c for $55? :o

Never mind I used the sudo nautilus program at first I thought it wouldn't do what I wanted it to do but now it works. Thanks guys! ;D

Ok so I got a Commodore emulator called VICE - and I found out I need to get roms for it to work.

So I did.

Here's the problem - I'm dragging the necessary c64 ROMS to the c64 folder in the VICE lib folder, just like the read me said - when I was hit with an error:

There was an error moving the file into /usr/lib/vice/C64.
Error moving file: Permission denied

 :crazy: WHAT? How could permission be denied? What should I do now?
