ASM / Re: Lowercase toggle ASM program ported to the 84C

I never quite understood why TI added lowercase support to their calcs, but made it so most normal users can't enable it.

ASM / Re: Learning z80 ASM« on: February 21, 2013, 09:09:14 am »
I tried to learn ASM too, but I found that SPASM doesn't work on my (64-bit) computer. Maybe I'll have better luck with Brass (where can I get it)?

Other / Something I'd like to see on iOS« on: February 11, 2013, 07:12:45 pm »
I recently jailbroke my iPod, and I've been having too much fun with all the little interface tweaks available in Cydia. One thing I'd really like to see would be a Windows-like desktop: being able to put icons on your desktop wherever you want, folders are unlimited in size, there's a start menu and task bar, all that wonderful stuff. Are there any packages available for doing this (or something like it)?

Introduce Yourself! / Re: Greetings, Humans!« on: February 07, 2013, 09:22:42 pm »
Hello!
I'm Spyro543! I like to build random electronics stuff, mainly with PIC processors. I know C (only for PICs), C++, Python, BASIC, and GML. EDIT: Here's another free bag of peanuts: ![]() 261
Ndless / Re: Ndless suggestions thread« on: February 07, 2013, 09:19:49 pm »
What I'm talking about is an XFCE-like desktop interface. Would a simple version of it be possible with Ndless?

Ndless / Re: Ndless suggestions thread« on: February 07, 2013, 07:32:12 pm »Integrating Ndless with the OS tasks management would be rather difficult. It would be really cool if there was a Windows-like desktop for Ndless, that would just bypass the Nspire OS's UI. 263
News / Re: TI launches the official TI-Nspire iPad application !« on: February 07, 2013, 07:10:51 pm »
I don't understand. The programming apps I have on my iPad allow me to run and compile programs I write. And they've been on the App Store for some time.

Why would programmability be a problem? I have quite a few programming apps on my iPad (python, C++, basic, javascript...)

My signature is just a random pic with my name in it, and my favorite Minecraft mod.

ASM / Re: Opcodes that should have been incorporated into the Z80 processor« on: February 06, 2013, 09:16:45 pm »TBH, we should just move on to another, more modern architecture that has all of these features. Once you know how to structure a program in ASM for one architecture, writing it for a different architecture isn't that hard.PIC, anyone? ![]() 267
Computer Usage and Setup Help / Re: Hosting server« on: January 30, 2013, 02:16:56 pm »
For hosting a Minecraft server over LAN, just get the server application or Bukkit, configure it, and run it. In Minecraft, connect to that computer's IP. To get the IP address for the computer, type ipconfig in cmd.exe or use an iOS app (Fing is nice). Most Computers can run a minecraft server, even my 12 year old desktop. For hosting a website, get Apache. I never found it very hard to use, and PHP is usually easy to install on it.

Yay Vants! I love playing around with them! Do you already have anti-Vants? If not, they should be added.
