OK, here are a few questions I have about the Prizm:
1. Can it do fractions (mixed numbers and fractions, and converting these to/from decimal, improper fractions to/from mixed numbers)? 2. Does it show fractions, square roots, etc. the way they are shown in textbooks)? 3. What programming languages does it support? 4. Can it do percents? 5. How many programs are there for it? How active is the development? 6. Does everyone here that has one really like theirs? 7. How stable is it? Does it crash frequently or not? 8. Can it run programs made for fx-9860G?
I might think of more later.

Yeah that's what all my teachers and friends say: "All those kids who don't know anything about computers will be on the streets and you'll be very successful in life." LOL

No, these kids see me programming on it and call it a "nerd calculator". These kids are so technologically illiterate...and I want to try to get them interested in computers and programming with a simple programming language so I can show them how easy it is to make their own games and home-work-helping programs. I think I'll teach some of my friends and most interacted with kids BASIC256. If you can suggest another easy programming language, please do so.

These kids don't know what a graphing calculator is. I'm thinking BASIC or BASIC256.

What would be the best programming language to teach "newbies" (7-8 grade range who never programmed)?

I know the kids in my school like arcade and shooting style games, and any time they can get help on homework, especially math. So there's some things I can teach kids how to do in programming. But what language? I like BASIC256, so maybe that.

How can I get kids who just care about everything except computers to get interested in computers?

Yep. That's how I created that EXE.

Nope. You can create EXEs in every version.

Ok, I am going to do this in normal Game Maker 8.0, and not 8.1. See the horrendous watermarks and message that pops up when the game is closed? In GM 8.0 all that comes up is a little message that says "Made in Game Maker" when it's loading.

Ok just wondered. It's awesome already, just saying, real blocks would rotate, but it's AWESOME as it is.

I finally made a very simple Balltrix clone for Windows! Yay! Very simple. I haven't even made a title screen yet . Use arrow keys to move the opening in the wall at the bottom of the screen. Get the balls in the opening! (I haven't even added a score/life system yet...like I said, simple.) Download link: balltrix.exe - 3.9 MB
