I could just see one of these things floating in a bio chamber at Texas Instruments... Well these do look cool, and very interesting. * Spyro543 WANTZA ONE.

Would it be too early to make a mockup? I already have some ideas for the keyboard layout!

Maybe Dreampad could be the new OTarm actually, since Ubergraphx/Ubercalc seems dead now.
Really? I'm not sure, but it will have an ARM processor...so maybe.

The OTcalc inspired me to start the DreamPad project. And I'm glad this is still alive (me want one).

Thanks for everyone's help! (No really, it helps! ) Now I think I should start thinking of the keyboard design and maybe some mockups.

Now look at this BeagleBoard xM. These will be the specs for my graphing calculator: It would be nice for a graphing calc, but is this a calculator or a laptop? I think this board would be better for the DreamPad instead of the DreamCalc...

I feel so guilty again It's awful that things have to be this way this year (and part of it was my fault )

VirtualBox is a must. Now I need to list all of these things I need to put in.
What package will it use? synaptics (apt-get)?
Yep, it has the most packages.
Yay a new version of EnvisionDev http://susegallery.com/a/b7UXzN/envisiondev-os

Are you also planning to keep us updated on your programming device by the way? (In your old topic)
Maybe, probably. I lost my concept notebook again but I have an entirely new idea, a tablet PC sized device that would be a tall rectangle. Half of it would be a screen, and the other half would be a keyboard.

This isn't dead - I'm just working (pretty slowly) on my next two projects.

I've only coded in Python and HTML, and HTML really isn't much of a programming language, but I think OOP can just get in the way of things and even make a project harder.
