Yeah, TI changed the way they label it because of the iOS and supposed Android versions. Also, exactly what you said about HP. I'll get me a Prime when I can (I reached a grade where I no longer use calcs for math so yeah  ).

Yeah, the TI planet news clearly states that it's just an attempt to block Ndless. Did anyone look for exploits in boot1 ? Because that would mean absolute total freedom since we could then write our own boot2 and outperform Nlaunch which uses boot2 exploit patched by TI.

If you want your variable to use the first two bytes of L1, do L1->°NAME, where NAME is the name of your variable (duh), which can be up to 13 characters. Then just use NAME as a normal variable.
It's true that there is no good tutorial, but the Commands.html file is very complete as a documentation and I learned most of Axe with it.

* Streetwalrus pokes Ndless. The calculators we own are our own and we legally can do whatever the hell we want with them. And sell hardware too. So TI doesn't have the right to do anything about it.
