Will's analysis is actually only correct for diy stuff. Because indeed mass production is much cheaper.

Hmmm, by CMOS I mean CMOS settings of course. It's just a way to name the system settings memory.

I don't really care about size because my flash z80 calcs are an 84+ and 83+se (although the former has one third of the flash available I rarely filled it).

I didn't follow development but the fact that you pulled off a textured voxel engine (even though without lighting) at a pretty decent speed is quite impressive.

Oh well maybe. But you don't need to turn the PC on with my board. As I said, I just remove the battery then set the jumper for a couple seconds before setting it back and putting back the battery. All that with power off ofc (hell, I have to remove the GPU to access the battery on my board ).

32k isn't too bad considering how much space the cse has available.

Removing the bios battery actually resets the CMOS.
Also I always remove the battery and set the clr-rtc jumper on my Asus board, wait some then put everything back. Maybe it's not the right way. 1689

Lol reset the CMOS. Read the mobo manual for info as this varies for every model.

Apparently there has never been an update for my Sapphire 7970 OC w/ boost though. But definitely update the mobo's BIOS. I did it like twice although idk what it adds. It's still a good idea to do it. Asus boards have an anti brick system and I wouldn't be surprised that others have something like that.
Oh btw your PC is definitely good enough to run Dolphin (GameCube/Wii emu). 1692

Gallium 3D is the driver. Mesa is the libgl and the tools. You can use the Mesa tools without the rest though.
Also each driver has its advantages. 1695
