Why not switch away from such an outdated tool ? Which assembler do you use ? Most modern assemblers include a linker for all z80 calcs (spasm, brass).

Nice features indeed. I used Yakuake back when ran KDE. Now that I'm on a tiling manager I have no use for a Quake style terminal though. Also screen zoom is pretty useful, I'll have to look into it. Do you have compositing on ? With which manager ?

Yeah PCMCIA can do a bunch of stuff. The bus does support PCI and IDE.
