That does sound cool. Thouh it would be more retro like if you used one of those C64 SIDs you have.

I heard there are compatibility issues with clones. That's one reason why I want to avoid them, but also due to the fact that it's not the same as having the real thing if you know what I mean.

Well I prefer the real thing with some way to run games off a flash media to collecting crappy disks and bulky cartridges or emulation. Unless I mod a Raspberry Pi or an FPGA clone into the real console. I won't buy any clones personally.

Our best bet now though is rs232 through the dock port. I wonder why no one used it for link play yet.

It is stupid. The boot2 is RSA protected so we can't change it unless we know the key. Plus, the older boot2 that lets you downgrade isn't compatible if your calc revision is J or higher (check the last character in the serial on the back).

You can make a placebo effect by putting variable+increment-1->variable in your loop.

The problem is we haven't completely figured out the Nspire USB port yet.

You still need to patch the calc first. Else it will get stuck with no OS until you send 2.55MP back from a PC or a boot code 1.03 calc.

Well yeah, up to the GameCube, those games are no longer being sold so it's no harm to download the ROMs. Still, we are encouraging piracy from a legal point of view.
