Other Calculators / Re: Using TI-Nspire CX to charge Nintendo DS?
« on: July 21, 2014, 05:48:49 am »
The DSi itself is somewhat in between the DS lite and the 3DS. It's a different console, with upgraded specs and all (yes it's more powerful). It does have backwards compatibility with the DS though.

How many TI calcs were there ? Back on topic, this is pretty easy to do. Just plug the A end of you unit to unit cable (the one that comes with the Nspire) into your calc and the B end in the DS (you may have to force a tiny little bit but it's perfectly fine).

I found out about this today because I needed to charge the DS and no charger was available. Randomly googled for a solution and found a guy using his mini USB cable to do it.

Yes. :P Surprisingly, the DS lite's charger port is almost identical to a female mini USB B connector so you can charge it with any USB cable. Since the Nspire provides power when an A type connector is plugged in, it works.

You can't just cast a float into a character array. Try to do that manually, by using the % and / operators and some looping. There's probably a standard library function for that though.

OK thank you. :) Might enter next one, we'll see.

Sorry I didn't really read all, but are people compared by language or in a single batch (yeah I know this sounds stupid) ?
