News / Re: First patch of the HP-Prime firmware« on: November 06, 2013, 01:45:31 pm »Well, the Prime has no hardware protection against arbitrary flashes even to the boot code so they couldn't lock it down so easily without rolling out a new revision and stuff. Like TI did with the 84+ boot code and the Nspire J+ and also Apple with the iPhone 3GS which has been locked down more with a new HW revision. Also since we seemingly have full control over low level stuff, we might as well avoid using userland exploits. These are often less reliable than patching the OS directly, plus they would be fixed quickly by HP for security reasons. 2690

$14 for the Zhanchi, $31 total + $13 for shipping (yeah that's expensive, shipping companies are always like that, especially international shipping).
Oh, and : and a syringe. You know, you can get faster without using drugs. * Streetwalker tries to inject lube in his veins.

News / Re: Put both Ndless and OS 3.6 in your TI-Nspire« on: November 03, 2013, 03:30:01 am »I said /once it goes mainstream/. There are currently way too few people who own it unfortunately. Also with the HP Prime now the Nspire will likely be of lesser interest to the community once the former goes mainstream, due to more power and TI f-ing up. 2697

Yeah I hope that a solution for these can be found. Also with the HP Prime now the Nspire will likely be of lesser interest to the community once the former goes mainstream, due to more power and TI f-ing up.

I love the GBA and the GameCube though. These consoles were the current when I was a youngster.
