[18:22:16]   Streetwalker   I got an idea about dj being always seen as an admin Tongue
[18:24:04]   *   pimathbrainiac  thinks we should hold yearly admin elections
[18:24:13]   pimathbrainiac   Democracy, people
[18:24:33]   Sorunome   lol
[18:24:42]   Streetwalker   lol
[18:24:49]   pimathbrainiac   well we should
[18:25:26]   pimathbrainiac   you become elevated in reward for being an active and productive member
[18:25:30]   Streetwalker   my idea was an smf mod that would display dj as a regular member, hiding his sig, avatar and post count and only showing DJ_O as a nick
[18:25:47]   pimathbrainiac   nah
[18:26:31]   Streetwalker   then add a hidden checkbox that forces people to read an EULA type thing before they can see his real profile Tongue
[18:26:44]   pimathbrainiac   lol
[18:26:56]   *   calc84 has joined #omnimaga
[18:26:56]   Streetwalker   well not really hidden but put it in the options
[18:26:57]   pimathbrainiac   no one reads the EULAs
[18:27:18]   Streetwalker   forced eula ftw
[18:27:24]   Streetwalker   not too hard with js
[18:27:33]   pimathbrainiac   yeah, but I always just scroll to the bottom Tongue
[18:27:44]   Streetwalker   force people to scroll to the bottom max one line /sec
[18:27:56]   pimathbrainiac   that would be torturous
[18:27:58]   Streetwalker   and make it short too
[18:28:07]   Streetwalker   lol
[18:28:08]   pimathbrainiac   still

HP Calculators / Re: Let's hack the HP Prime!

Well, this says otherwise :
Quote
The kernel is written using GNU C and the GNU toolchain.  While it
adheres to the ISO C89 standard, it uses a number of extensions that are
not featured in the standard.  The kernel is a freestanding C
environment, with no reliance on the standard C library, so some
portions of the C standard are not supported.  Arbitrary long long
divisions and floating point are not allowed.  It can sometimes be
difficult to understand the assumptions the kernel has on the toolchain
and the extensions that it uses, and unfortunately there is no
definitive reference for them.  Please check the gcc info pages (`info
gcc`) for some information on them.

TI Z80 / Re: Basic Specialized IDE for making Installs and the like
« on: October 29, 2013, 01:58:06 pm »
The TI z80 (and probably also 68k) familiy(/es) allow you to do mix both (a BASIC prog can call an ASM prog but you can't officially have it inline).

Just out of curiosity : are you using a base RTOS or is the software written from scratch ?

Of course, but it will only work for color calcs (though we can have a greyscale converter).

We could also make a site that takes sprites from OGA and convert them to code. Combine it to a userscript and you're all set. :D
