There's already that in Omnicalc and zStart makes it even more handy. ;)

Nah. Too expensive for my current revenues. If I get a car, I'll either end up having to stop going out, buying games or anything else for 5 years with no exception in order to pay the car payments, and if it's an old cheaper car, then I'll spend that money into repairs every few month instead. Add to that insurances, which are more expensive for newer drivers. Since I live close to most essential stuff and have a decent bus transit to go out on day/evening times, I prefer to use that instead and be able to enjoy life.
100% agreed. Though you can still borrow someone's car.

There is another store selling more stuff in Quebec City, but it's in the middle of nowhere and takes like 2 hours to reach in city bus.
You don't have a car ? :P

Also for the smoking thing it's the same as in Québec over here. Though it's still raging to be caught in the middle of a nasty smoke cloud while peacefully walking in the street. Also, asthma. D:

I wouldn't use notifications if they were added. I was just answering DJ's concern about battery problems with notifications. The only feature that makes me happy with Feedly and formerly GReader is syncing and that's all I need since I subscribed to only 16 feeds. ;)

Seems interesting. TO answer Xeda, I think it should be fine with 2 KB of RAM as long as the RAM doesn't have to be used for storate purpose like on Z80 calcs. In fact 2 KB might be more than enough in many cases, but I think 16 KB of flash storage might not.
Depends. a 128*64 screen needs 1024 bytes of RAM for buffering. And the other kB gets filled up pretty quickly. Let alone greyscale which requires at least two buffers. 128kB of RAM FTW. :P

I'd recommend Fullrene as it's cleaner than Crabcake and lets you use the whole user RAM => even more coding space than APP while filesize is exactly what it contains, no blank space, and faster execution due to no flash timings.

Same here and I don't know how to grab the page resources in Chrome. :/

Yeah I usually fix that with the pencil tool. :P It gets boring/frustrating pretty quickly though.

Just for info : if you include data in the executable (very likely since there are strings and sprites), note that the limit is not on the file size but the executable code size. This means that if Axe says more than 8k, you did not necessarily break the $C000 limit. ;) Apps, however are limited to 16k total size.

That sounds cool for the maps though smooth scrolling is not terribly hard. ;)

That's actually writing 0 times the /byte/ 2316 at address A. :P And yeah, 0 is not a valid size.

Feedly does not provide notifications, it's just an RSS reader synced to their servers.

Only ten days left before big G shuts down GReader. I switched to Feedly which is absolutely awesome and suit my needs very well. :D Their goal is to replace Google's service seamlessly and they even have a migration tool. I recommend you to switch if you didn't decide yet.

TI Z80 / Re: zStart - an app that runs on ram clears
« on: June 24, 2013, 03:29:51 pm »
I made it because I had bad side-by-side assemblies
What are these ? I guess that's a Windoze related thing. I never went deep with this crappy OS. :P

Also thepenguin, just to make sure : did you see my post saying that now the patch installs fine but doesn't run anything on RAM clear ?

That would require some assembly I think. Ask on the ASM board for an hex code that'll do what you want.
