I recently started an ASM rewrite of this, you can find the source on GitHub here.
I'll try to keep you updated on progress here. Right now, I'm trying to write the tilemapper sprite routines and this is going pretty well.

The latest Axe is 1.2.1a. Check that in the bottom right corner of the app.

I found a bug today. You can't set a program with theta in it's name to run on RAM clear/turn on/zStart quit/on + num. In the zStart GUI, the theta shows up as U and this prevents the program from being found and run.

The crash is most likely due to writing in incorrect RAM areas. Also make sure that you have the latest version of Axe as I remember a bug caused by the compiler itself when using OS vars.

Hi welcome to Omni ! As DJ said, we are mostly calculator programmers here, but we also have computer and gaming sections.

Just make sure to not use smileys instead of punctuation at the end of your sentences there. ;)
And don't forget to use caps and actual punctuation because it's kinda hard to read. You're not in a chat so please take your time to write properly. ;)

The health display is in the pause screen (alpha to pause, X,T,0,N to resume). I don't think there's a score.
