Yes, almost all TI-Nspire OSes are on TI-Planet, and your can downgrade to 3.1 from 3.2. We don't really know why TI did this, maybe they know 3.2 is buggy or they are starting to not mind Ndless. I have an Nspire too. You should program on yours. Anyway, welcome to the forums. Here's your complimentary peanuts.

If I had to make a guess, I'd say that the new 83+.fr is going to be 84+ hardware but with 83+ specs for RAM, CPU speed, and archive space
