I believe that he should still be respected for giving money back to the community, what he did was very bad, but we should give him that respect.
We should just take the link out and leave his name.
Yes, I believe that would be best. Or you could just link his account to the main page or something.

wait, what are Trial Apps?
Back when you used to have to pay for apps, people would make apps that would only run a certain number of times and then delete themselves.
(These are also the type of Apps that Axe makes.)
AXE doesn't make permanent apps? (i've never made an app)

it should mount at mnt/* or something like that. If you don't have rights to the folder then run sudo nautilus from the command prompt (why did I go back to Windows?) Terminal TWICE and use the to windows to exchange .m4a files.
yea, it mounts on the computer at /mnt/(random number-letter sequence, i believe its an md5 hash)nevermind, now it mounts at afc://89f344043957a69b1b279dfaec336bb715061cc4/ i'm gonna do a apt-get upgrade to fix this i think....

welllllll now it does mount, but nautilus can't view it. i think this means that it just glitched and i need to reboot. anyways, it used to mount (on the ipod, not the comp) at like /var/mobile or something. so i don't think drag and drop works....

Ubuntu wasn't made with mp3's and iPods in mind. You should just manually put the files on the device.
You mean like ssh into it? or just sync with some windows computer?

Hey!
I have Linux Ubuntu 11.04 :woot:
I've used it for about a couple months now, but i have been using linux for a while.
I have a question/problem.
Why does the iPod sync take forever on m4a files? (or now, its gotten to any file, i think.)
and does anyone else have to wait 7 hrs to sync ~300 songs?
and has anyone fixed this problem?

Linux:
xchat again, but i personally ( and juju and kittygirl ) use irssi, 'cept it heavily modded
Mac:
i have colloquy for my ipod, idk about xchat compatability.

Didn't you grab 1.50 from TI-Flash Debugger ROM then use that tool to convert it to an OS file? You had me testing it on my TI-73 a while ago. I think my calc still have it installed.
Exactly.
By the way, my tool is command-line only.
It "could" be usefull for other things, like generating an OS update file from a basic TI-83 ROM.
(think to all the tricks you could play to your friends... :p )

does this mean programs and apps can be [auto-]installed when the os is sent and validated?
