I don't really remember how or when I found Omnimaga but I've known about it for years. All I remember is that I was convinced to join Omni's IRC channel a while back and from there I eventually took a leap and joined the fora/forums. However, I initially signed up as "Sephiran".

I don't recall ever coining the phrase "pull a DJ", but that's not of importance.
Zera is (or should be) correct in terms of legality and the internet. So long as you haven't violated federal or international laws by posting content such as child pornography, pirated software, malicious software, or content intended to threaten or endanger another person, you haven't really done anything to warrant legal action as a consequence. The internet is basically "let the browser beware". The internet is full of content that is offensive but by no means illegal. Outside of actual federal/international violations, the only "laws" on the internet are those that are established and maintained by the owners and administrators of the individual websites. You are only contractually obliged to obey these laws (contract with the site itself), not legally. There probably is some threshold of violation wherein the law can become involved but I am fairly certain that threshold could only be met if you went to a very extreme extent.

I guess I'd have to pick the horizontal lines. The others don't really strike me as "oh hey! A battle!" kind of transitions. My vision of a "battle transition" would be quickly flashing white (fast fade to 0 opacity?) and then quickly fading in to the battle scene or maybe something kinda like Golden Sun's battle transitions: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zhZCsMbIiJo

It makes me wonder if there's going to be a point where it will be plain impossible to make anything smaller...that is, I wonder if, 100-200 years from now, if you want 10,000 TB Hard Drive, 100 GB RAM and a 50 GHz processor, you will have to get a computer the size of a desk
100-200 years from now you won't need a 10 PB hard disk drive or 100 Gigs of RAM or a 50 GHz CPU. You'll be able to download your porn directly to your brain On a more serious note, I agree with art_of_camelot. Desktops and computers in general will keep evolving over the years. Nothing will disappear, they'll just take on new forms.

Maybe they are where you live but on a global scale desktop computers are far from endangered. As of yet it's either impossible or too costly to put the power of modern desktops into a mobile form. Well, as far as I am aware. It's possible that simply there's waning demand for desktops in your area so, naturally, businesses are stocking less and less because an item that does not sell is an item not worth stocking.

Hahah, yeah, I know what game you're talking about You could consider TSMG2010 to be the "school/work safe" version of that particular game, albeit a rather inferior version. I haven't played that particular game in a long while though so I can't really accurately compare the two Oh, and coming soon: The Stock Market Game: Internet Meme Edition! Trade Rickrolls, Tay Zondays, blue lobsters, and MORE as you try to make the most money through internet memes! ... j/k
