Math and Science / Re: Non-linear sequence« on: April 27, 2011, 02:32:47 am »
Blegh, I made a mistake somewhere I was trying to make one that had a third variable that could be any number and would still work. I know I can (I just added f(10)=m). I have a final project, though, so when I am finished with that, I'll get back to this

Psh, would you like an equation to model the values? I have one that I am about to test! I literally just used two pages of paper to draw out everything

TI Z80 / Re: On-Calc Virtual Processor« on: April 26, 2011, 10:42:45 pm »
No, I don't plan to add them But I do plan to add in rst, which I think is nice...
Anywho, I just made a screeny of what else I have done. Unfortunately, my RAM cleared yesterday, after I fixed some bugs, but I still have the hex editor. Pretty much, it shows the page that is loaded, the address, and then the hex. Pages are only 256 bytes, so every 256 bytes, it has a different page loaded (usually). 3306

Kind of It is only a pause, but I think I will add in later a special key to let the user step through emulation. I think I will also display the hex code or disassembly below the "LCD."
Also, as an update... I have added these instructions: add a,reg8 adc a,reg8 sub a,reg8 sbc a,reg8 Once I add in relative jumping and port reading/writing, then I will be off to a good start! Also, as another note, reg8 includes (hl), like the Z80 3307
BatLib / Re: BatLib Demo Programs« on: April 26, 2011, 08:46:59 pm »
Hehe, I hope you have fun! I have noticed that many of my programs are pretty much 50% BatLib commands and the rest is BASIC. I really tried to pack plenty of tools in there to make life easy

Miscellaneous / Re: You promised to do something. But you never do it. Ever.« on: April 26, 2011, 05:26:08 pm »Anyway, back to savants. I have a theory on how they're so intelligent and "talented." For normal people like us, it would take experience to learn something, to master them. For savants however, something ticked in their brains due to their developmental problems and activated functions of the brain that would normally be acquired / created / connected to other neurons only by experience. Why is why it's like they "leveled up" in a skill very quickly. So we don't all have equal ability? I think that is called an intelligence quotient... 3309

Have you ever looked into savant's? These are people who are extra-ordinarily good at using their brains (in some areas) and disabled in others.

Nice covers! And even if you can sell them for *only* one dollar, there are probably a few million iTunes users, so if .01% of users happened across DJ_O's music and decided to buy a song, that would bring in a few hundred dollars.
EDIT: There were about 500 000 000 users last year, so that would mean that if .0001% of those users bought DJ's music, that would bring in $500 EDIT2: Some more stats... Last year, 5 000 000 000 tracks were downloaded and there were 8 000 000 tracks. This means that each track was downloaded an average of 625 times. Obviously there are track that will get thousands of downloads, but still, that is a lot of downloads. 3313

I would argue that some people naturally excel in certain areas. However, for the most part I would like to think that you are correct and even Binet believed that. The goal of Binet when he invented the intelligence quotient test was to make a standardized test that pinpointed weaknesses in a student's education or learning. It was not to say that a student could not learn or was great at learning, it was simply there to determine where a student needed to focus more on their learning
