Um, I didn't quite understand what you meant by the first paragraph... But by the second one, it already does that. That is the controls right now. "Move by sliding anywhere on the screen, except HUD"

What I meant (a little more clearly), was, The "cursor" stays in the middle of the screen while you move the screen by sliding the screen. But instead of touching ships, you line the cursor over them and control them with the menu in the HUD.

For example: You haven't got any ships selected. You move the cursor over a ship and select him with the button on the bottom left signifying "select". You then move the cursor away from the ship (move the view cause the cursor never really moves) and move it to where you want it and then press the move or attack button.

I'll post the next video explaining this.

Ok so I have another video with some updates about the terrain, give me your pro's and con's please :).
Anyway I was think about something. I haven't used the bottom HUD for anything, and was probably deciding to change the touch the ships, to a placed cursor stuck in the center of the screen. Reason being, it's pretty hard to select something because your finger is in the way. So if you use the cursor instead and just move the screen it will make controls way easier.

What are your thoughts?

EDIT: I don't care about your thoughts. :P JKJK, No actually I will have to do it this way because it will be impossible to do it the other way, there just isn't enough ways to tap the screen for all those controls...

Oh and btw, modding minecraft would be MUCH harder in C++. Either on the community or on the mojang devs. Right now, minecraft is broken up into a series of classes inside the jar. Because of this, you can simply swap some out with new ones. If it was in C++, it would be one big block of code, with no such ability. Modding it directly would be nearly impossible, so the mojang devs would have to build in a new system like the Elder Scrolls games use, where you have an external set of files it can load in and integrate with the game. VERY COMPLICATED.

Either that or they release the source, which they don't look like they plan on doing for a long, long time.

Actually, in C++ you CAN actually organize the classes into separate files that can be switched in and out. You just have to set up your code to function with that properly :). They would have to change a lot of their code, but if they did what I just mentioned, they would keep the "classes having files" structure of the game. and would make modding the game almost as easy as Java. The game would not have to be "one big block of code" if they did this. But it isn't commonly done in C++, and would take a little extra time. Since Mojang seems to be very lazy (Most of the time), they probably "wouldn't find it feasible" and just stick with Java anyway. :/

Which kinda sucks because I think the game would be soooo much better in C++. :/

Oh, and I'm also excited for 0x10c :D, but I think I already said that...

On the Cemetech server, Fluf8x (my brother) and I (Fluffy8x) built this stadium.

I've been doing mobile development for the last few years. Mainly Objective-C, I had also done some homebrew development on a psp back when it first came out. I really like what Sony has done in relation to their whole SDK policy for the mobile and Vita stuff. 
You aren't the only one. Since PSM publishing license is now free, I actually have something to work forward to that is free!

Oh ok I thought he reconsidered, since we still see Minecraft updates every now and then. I also thought that he was working on the PC version in solo.

Nah! Notch is working on 0x10c, which frankly, is the coolest thing I've seen so far. As far as pc minecraft Jeb and the crew are still making updates.
