I was actually thinking that 8x8 sprites are easier and allow for more detail, would that be too big though?

Any one played Terraria?
I decided to work on a 2D sidescroller similar to Terraria in game elements, exept you crashed from outer space. it will use block breaking aspects with 4x4 sprites for blocks and the player is 2 blocks wide 3 blocks high. I will start working on this at school tommorow. Wish me luck? 484

I do not believe I implied that at all. I merely suggest making an adaptor and necessary programs be possible. I failed to communicate properly from lack of usable time on my hands. 485
Miscellaneous / Re: Christmas - what did you get?« on: December 29, 2012, 12:29:56 am »Hm. I nearly forgot I got a 32" HDTV for my room to replace my current 27" CRT, which is next to my 27" computer screen and my 19" one. You know that a good brand CRT tv will beat an HD tv in quality any day. The tv my parents have (bought 10? years ago) is still the best quality I will ever see. But hey HD tvs are great too because you can get a great size without all that weight. And I got a psvita for christmas. 486

Minecraft Discussion / Re: List of Minecraft servers« on: December 21, 2012, 02:00:59 pm »There was a free classic version. I played it before. However I haven't checked if it's still online. Classic version is still online. It is just never updated so its still in alpha. |
