Ah, there's the issue...Outside of methods you can only DEFINE and INITIALIZE variables, but you can't manipulate them. so you can define JLabel win, but you can't manipulate it with setFont, because it's not in a method, it's only in the class body.

As far as I know there isn't a way to write actual apps on the android itself...

That looks awesome, yeongJIN_COOL! the only thing I see is falling is the same as jumping speed, which isn't true of the original, but who said it had to be the original? Great work.

Thanks so much for all the information! Sadly, I'm currently on my Mac, and therefore can't run AppHeader.exe. Is there some place I can see a template for app headers and write my own based off of that?

Well I know it has a special header, but I'm talking more about things like knowing 'ret' doesn't return to the OS (if indeed that is true). That would be an important thing to know.

If I wanted to write an app instead of just a normal program, what would I have to do differently? More simply: How different is it from writing a program?

Dang, i was thinking about porting this for the competiton but bits of it would be extremely hard to code, so I gave up. Good luck - you'll need it ^^
What bits would be so difficult to code? Honestly I can't think of any big things other than crossing half way between screens, and stopping the user from attempting to slide either of the screens that you are half way between.

That looks awesome! I really like the wall jumping, though It seems to me like the initial stall is a little long. Even so, it looks fantastic! You'll definitely have to incorporate some cloning limitations in the actual puzzles though! Edit: Also, I like how the gray fill floats between clones when you switch control, but when they're all the way across the screen it gets kind of tedious. You may want to make it skip frames as the distance increases.

Hopefully soon I'll be able to change my vote to "dating"

I say "jur" for jr, too. Also "D-J-N-Z."
I also say "slah" for sla and "srah" for sra, like Runer.

Well, I guess the issue really comes with when each one is used...I don't fully understand all the functionality of the SDK yet, so I'm still learning about what situations are ideal to really look at using things such as either threads or timers for updating views, and even then whether I should update a regular view or a SurfaceView with callback or all those things. It's really just situational questions about what's the best way to do things...

The SDK is very well done, but the fragments/activities/surfaces/views confuse me a bit.

I might play it. my band teacher said it show it to my after schools over and if he thinks I'd go well with it I'll have the summer to adjust. Currently I play the Tenor Saxophone(my favorite so far) I used to play the alto sax. 've also played a bari sax a few times
DO IT. Such amazing rich tone quality. It adds so much to an ensemble.
