Ah, didn't see But still, next step is to integrate it directly within the program. And graphically while we're are at it

By the way, another improvement would be for beginners to have a "launch wizard" if it's the first time you launch it, and that it builds the command line for you (which you wouldn't need to see eventually if you don't want to) from the different file you give it (boot1, boot2, OS, etc.)

Tower Defense with AI... Sounds (and looks) like a really fun game. Would it run in TI's online simulator? I want to try it out later, but I don't actually have the calculator and my Nspire Student Software license expired
The .tns file I think, should be perfectly openable in the online doc player, and I made the lua script controllable fully with mouse when you can't do anything (doc player, for example).... It should be good

By the way are you planning to replace graphics with sprites in future versions like Chockosta's Bobby Carrot clone? That might actually get the game to become more popular.
Yes

v1.1 : Small but important update (stability + features) … - Probably killed an annoying "ghost" tower bug causing crashes - Upgrading a tower checks for money (duh…) - Fixed the GameOver popup - Adjusted a bit the overall difficulty https://github.com/adriweb/LuaTowerDefense/raw/master/LuaTowerDefense.tnsSoon adding *new* features btw, I still can't make it crash

I guess the next step could be to have a free alternative, or something like the TI-Planet app
Hmm, as far as I know you have to pay like 100 dollar a year to apple to be able to have your app on their store.
Correct. Not too bad if you're able to make (via sales, ads etc.) 8.5 dollars / month on the apps you make

I really can't decide..... genesis or snes..... If you have more experience with the genesis, then you should go with it. I know there are games like Sonic on it .... would be fun to have that on the Nspire

Indeed, and feel free to share your work !
There will also be updates so the Formula creation page will be able to save/load pack.
Future updates of FormulaPro itself will also include a better/more complete physics default database.

Lua tower defense has given me errors midgamep all 4 times I played it.
I've had error reports from users running 3.1.... I have coded it with 3.2 and couldnt reproduce such bugs..... If you can, you can update to 3.2 and then downgrade back to 3.1

It's a bit easy because you get much money and the difficulty doesn't increase very much. Yes, I didnt have time to think about a nice difficulty-increase formula, but I will change that soon. Also I think there's a bug, because sometimes there doesn't come a new wave if you click, just nothing happens, even if you save, quit and load again.
This happened to me a while ago but I thought I fixed it... I never got it since Any condition on making it do that again ? It's a bit strange that in the pop-up to buy a tower you can only navigate with the up/down arrow keys and in the tower upgrade pop-up only with left/right arrow keys. Weird, will fix that, thanks. You could probably make the towers a bit weaker and more levels of upgrade. Yes. For now, the update improves the range. I will think about something else to improve. Apart from that it's quite addictive
Thanks It will be even more with the more maps I'll include soon and the map editor too BTW : I could only test recently on 3.2, so maybe I couldn't have some bugs only in 3.1....

I tried the game and it's very nice
Indeed. Very, very nice game. Congratulations ! A suggestion: what about keeping the player moving, like in asteroids ? That might make it more fun. +1 And for me, Sorry but I find the controls very bad. It may also be because of the TouchPad, so it's not necessarily your fault on that point. And I know 8 shooting directions + 4 moves aren't easy to put on the keyboard Also, I think the AI get's too smart too fast .. but that might be fun
yes, a bit fast for me too. Especially with the controls, I want to smash the Nspire because the enemies were chasing after me and it scares the sh*t ouf of me each time I move and they almost catch me while I'm trying to shoot x)

Me neither. Maybe it has to do with the fact that we are newsers ? (and maybe staff can't vote by default ..)
I was thinking about that too

that's weird?* shmibs checks to see what's wrong EDIT: if you can see the results before having seen the options, you should also have a "voting options" link. if that's not working, let me know
nope
