Lua / Re: Help with on.help
« on: May 01, 2012, 08:53:32 am »
There are quite a few things incorrect/incomplete on Inspired Lua and wiki, but it's a pretty good resource.
So what's the usefulness of on.help when you have to press two buttons to access it?

Please report them, really.
Any non-complete/wrong/missing/not-good-enough...

Thanks in advance !

Anyway, will fix that one right now.

Well, I'm sure teachers will find useful educational things to be made with the physics engine, but from the community point of view, we sure will use it for awesome games :P

And yes, Line rider wouldn't be hard to make.

(Angry Birds has been made, so...)

Lua / Some more info about OS 3.2 (especially Lua)
« on: April 18, 2012, 11:47:06 am »
Hi there !

TI recently published their latest TI-NspiringTimes Newsletter, and they are giving out some extra info about OS 3.2 !

They wrote 2 pages about the already well-known "Energy-Skate-Park" activity, which deeply uses OS 3.2's Lua's Physics Engine.

You can find a animated-preview of this activity here :

If you want to know more about just the lua part, I cropped it out for you :

For the other 3.2 Lua activities previews, you can find animations here :

Also, I've made a news about all this on TI-Planet :

Yeah we plan to  fully integrate it within TI-Planet when it's done, I guess Omni can do that too !
Also PCSpire handles weel all kind of resolutions so that won't be a problem

Well, I would gladly make Prizm scripts too if there was some Lua cross-"compiler" :P

And I doubt anyone from TI-Planet that is under TI's NDA plans to work on Casio projects in long terms.

For some NDAs, there are rules like that but ours doesn't specify that we cannot work with other companies like Casio IIRC.
Our NDA is just to prevent the leak of stuff they give us, which seems quite normal to me
