If "c" "o" "d" "e" can't be found (in that order) in the string, then print 0 and nothing else.

Anyway, for my Lua solution, wrapped in a function, it's 121 bytes, then.

Got a 101-bytes one in Lua.

Also, that's assuming you want to have displayed only 0 if it's not possible, and nothing else printed during the process.
(Because if other number can appear in the loop as well as 0, well, I got a shorter one.)

I posted mine a while ago ...

Ok, that was a setup, originally (considered or a school project movie blablablaa, but it didn't even make the cut lol) :P

But anyway, I usually work with 2 screens (laptop + 27") now.

Haha I can launch my car by dropping ones on it, thus cheating... :P

Anyway, it's fast enough on TINCS, but I'm too scared to try on the handheld :(

Other Calculators / Re: Why is it impossible to downgrade from OS 3.9?
« on: August 21, 2014, 06:33:05 am »
in any case : on < J models, yes.

If 3.9 is already installed, then you'd need external hardware (to reflash the nlaunchable boot2). If it's < 3.9  then it's easier.

probably a TINCS screenshot can act as a proof if needed ^^

I'm eager to see how you guys made words out of numbers ( without any built-in libs, that is), in such a low number of bytes.
... or maybe I'm just missing something :P

Edit : ok, I did - it's much better now that I read the post carefully :D

Edit : wait, you edited, so I don't have anything right now :P

As requested :
- Board size : I set it to 23x23
- Controls : 'r' to go up, 'x' left, 'y' for down, and 'z' for right. (This is good for a CX device, not sure on another platform :P)

That's also true for the Nspire, can't really see anything with a 1px thing (especially on clickpads) so I've made the biggest square that's enjoyable to play with I guess (not confusing at least)
making it bigger wouldn't take more bytes for me though, I believe, so it's not really the point ^^

Hum, as large as possible now.... mkay

I'm down to 551 bytes btw in Lua, not with this new rule though

Edit : nevermind, 555 bytes for a well defined grid (which is now 23x23)

Yes indeed, it must.

(it's what takes me ~90 bytes :P)
