Lua / Re: basic split screen on lua [calculation sheet ]« on: August 22, 2011, 06:24:40 am »I was looking for a way to split the screen using lua code, and I read that code at least 12 times, No, there is no way you can split the screen in pure-lua. a lua script is embedded in a "widget", and when you split the screen, it just creates a place for another widget, where everything (including another lua script) can go. So, splitting the screen has nothing to do with the lua code itself. If you're looking to know how some variables are shared between these widgets, take a look at the 'var' APIs 1535

About that Lua outputting to the RS232 port, it's just a print() actually that outputs stuff to the console, which is actually the serial port

No, Mic didn't mess it up.
Free shut down (temporarily) the website for a "huge load" and "local files as databases" reason, probably, we aren't really sure what the want from us. 1542
Lua / Re: Lua problems and bugs« on: August 19, 2011, 09:03:32 am »You know that it isn't always to our advantage. Some bugs that we would have like not to be known by TI were actually fixed by them when I tried with the new version, so we have nothing to regret, there ... 1543
Ndless / Re: Ndless for Nspire CX?« on: August 18, 2011, 05:18:58 pm »
The CX you bought comes with an OS >= 3.0 and so it's not ndless-able since Ndless 3 is not out yet.
It's in the work so you might just want to wait. And no, you can't downgrade to OS 2.x because of the boot1/boot2 aren't downgradable. 1544
