Et pour l'heure, je sais plus x)

General Calculator Help / Re: TI Nspire CX CAS Questions?
« on: May 04, 2013, 08:25:10 am »
I'm pretty sure we arrived at a point where the calculators can only get better by merging with smartphones. HP and Casio tend to that by adding a touch-based screen, but seriously how is it going to help you solve this equation, or that integral etc. ?
For what I use/used of my Nspire (and 84+ before), I didn't need any touch input. The math abilities provided built-in or downloadable are 99.99% of the time, more than enough.

So, for me, the Nspire CX (CAS) is probably a nice future-proof investment.

Very nice :)

Reminds me of my Lua equivalent from two years ago :P

An idea for you : in my version, I added a "bonus" every 500 points IIRC, that lets the player dig through the lines when pressing enter :)

Well, you indeed can't search, but I foudn myself getting okay with that simply by having separated the differnet topics things in different Notes tabs, and topics in activities.

Simple enough :)

Mhmm, i had something similar once, I got a bad grade in a latin class test and thus almost failed the class -> no knex or computer for 1 month.
Looks freaking familiar.

Sad for you, but I upvoted for "I'll be Bach, my Franz. Liszt yourself here if you are going to Greig (grieve) my abscence."

Hope you'll be Bach soon indeed.

TI-Nspire / Re: z80 emulator for Nspire

-Screen shifting bug: after quitting the emu, pressing ON makes the screen shift weirdly, but other keys work fine. See the video (sent by email because too large for attachement), where I whack the ON key so that you see what happens, and make some stupid calculatings in the scratchpad so that you see that other keys work fine

Yep, got the same.

The "small" letters definitely look great... But yeah, if the speed is so slow that it's becoming a pain for the user, well...
(Also, could you actually leave the font choice to the user, or would that be too much trouble to make ?)

I have a question: What program do we submit if we're doing Axe? The compiled executable, or the source?
You'd have to give both.

It will only be called upon erroring.
