Other Calculators / Re: Need Help! Battery for PLT-SSH1
« on: November 25, 2012, 05:39:39 am »
Hmm, that's quite an amazingly rare prototype (which probably isn't spread to more than a dozens units worldwide...)
If you have the money to buy yourself one, more people like collectors would want to buy it from you if you want (I'm thinking Critor right now... But I can also buy it myself by paying you on Paypal right now, if you want ? - something like 450 yuan is good for you ?))

About the battery, we could contact Datamath which may have more info, or I can try some contacts at TI directly.
If that doesnt work, we can still "make" ourselves one, since we kind of know the specs :

Also, could you ask the vendor for more info on what else he's got etc. ?

Edit2 : Also he sells some early prototype (DVT cas+) for quite cheap (< 30 euros I believe) :

Yep.

However, i'd expect that catalog page(s) to change and get updated with the new models (pocket, color, etc.) So my version might not be so far lol

Well, it's because I guess it's common to all the 84 models.
but yeah.

By the way, is TI keeping you informed of every single thing they are planning to release in the future, even China-only stuff, for example? If they do and never did any exception/forgetting before, then I guess that might possibly be fake.
Well, no, but I wish :P
But anyway I have not seen any reference to this model.

Am I the only one who noticed the "fail" (?) in the letter order in the 84+ C Pocket SE catalog url ? :P (84pluspcse!= 84pluscpse)

c/P of my post in the other topic :

You realize the poster's name is "Aietraullu", meaning "I troll you" ? ;)
Also, photoshopping an image + taking a photo of it is a quite nice way to hide some imperfections :P

lulz Cemetech newsed about it :D

That kind of physics stuff can't stop to amaze me, it's really cool ! (for such small ruleset !)

these "fuild" mechanics reminded me of a simulation ported to nspire (3.2, because physics) : https://github.com/slembcke/Chipmunk-Physics/blob/master/Demo/Buoyancy.c

I don't plan to put it on the AppStore ($ 100 a year is way too expensive), but on a Cydia/APT repository (for jailbroken devices). :P I was thinking about porting libti* and rewriting my own GUI. ;)
I have a paid Developer subscription, if you want it hosted ;)
But I'm afraid it's not gonna be possible on non-jailbroken devices anyway :( (hw access etc.)

You're probably calling SceneUpdate() too often, then.
If SceneUpdate() is used to update graphical parts, don't increment the xp in there, rather in another function you call whenever it's needed :)
