I photoshopped the image quite a bit, and here's the result : (hosted here originally : http://tiplanet.org/wiki/index.php?title=Fichier:TI-84_Plus_C_Silver_Edition.png)

Well I quite believe it's 320x240.
Weird that you found differently, but I may be wrong ^^

Math and Science / Re: Integration by Parts
« on: November 08, 2012, 08:17:48 am »
Ah yeah, stuff like that : http://cedprog.pagesperso-orange.fr/prepa/math/Chap_13.pdf :P
(french isn't really important, maths matter here ^^)

Also, I made a program some time ago, that smartly makes integration by parts steps by steps, for the nspire, in basic :
http://tiplanet.org/forum/archives_voir.php?id=4481  (french and english !)

Critor also made one with a GUI and also steps by steps, in Lua, but I can't find it hosted, mayeb it's not ready yet.

General Calculator Help / Re: combo boxes on an nspire

Yep, Levak has done quite some work on GUI syscalls and I believe he managed to get working every kind of GUI element, however I don't think his things got released because they may not all be stable.

If he comes on this topic, maybe he can tell you specifically about combo boxes etc. if they're stable enough

So can you access mathworld.alpha during a calculus exam? ;D

Mouhaha quite easy with a bash script :

If you want more information about Lua programming, you can head over here :
http://www.inspired-lua.org you will find tutorials etc. For the Nspire-Lua API, here : http://wiki.inspired-lua.org

What you have to know, though, is that right now (it will change un the future), there is no "standard" GUI library etc. provided by TI, so you have to do everything on your own.
Hopefully some community memebres have done so already :)

You can check an example of what's probably the most complex Lua app out there (compatible from 3.0 to 3.2+), an Electrical Engineering application : FormulaPro (like EEPro on the TI-89)
https://github.com/adriweb/EEPro-for-Nspire

(I put this screenshot to show the use of a GUI toolkit, which provides text input, buttons, dialog etc.)

SDL isn't emulated, that's just the graphical frontend. I guess you would have to set some frameskip to snes9x to make it work at 60 FPS.

Also mplayer lags o.o
Well, that's why TI advertises is as a calculator (actually rather a math&science handheld thing - meh, stupid vocabulary :P) and not a developer board :D (also @debrouxl)

But yeah, with some overclocking, it's good enough ?

Why would you make an image out of the parsed data ??
Render directly the pase thigns would be *the* way to go, if any...

(the only good use of having an image is to actually grab a screenshot of the website you'hve wanted that got parsed by some computer :P)

Adriweb and jimbauwens definitely talked to TI about the problem... to no avail, at the time of this writing.

It is "supposed" to be back at some point, as far as I know.

also you might convince TI to put print() back if you tell them about the educational purposes it could have (robotics and so)
Exactly what we did :)
