Except that I have to disagree with one thing, it's neat that edits are now broadcasted over IRC. That's not the point we're making. We're pointing out that Eeems has been doing things on his own even when he gets told people don't agree with him.

I also confirm to be one of the people who signs the above petition. The points that are mentioned in it have been bothering me for quite some time so after discussing the issues with other members who feel the same, I decided to step up and let my voice be heard. I sincerely hope these points will be taken in consideration. Geekboy: I am not agreeing with your point that this is not a democracy. We built this place, and I think everybody should have a voice. Also, internal rules? You make sure that they are followed? That sounds like a dictatorship. Final point. If things don't change here, count me out. If I can't have my old place on the web, I will build a new place of my own. edit fixed typo

Quick design update: We decided to reinterpret maps and stuff. For example, the first cave is going to be a huge dungeon map with multiple levels to make it somewhat more interesting to walk through. I hope street can do some stuff on the engine this afternoon so we can show you Kin walking around

Today I learnt something : life is made of algorithms. I discovered one today, being a student in my own appartment :
while(oreo) oreo--; Did you discover things like this ?
Assuming you mean Oreo biscuits, I think the following would be closer to reality
oreoPurchase := 3 oreoEaten := 0 hospital :=0 WHILE 1 DO oreoEaten = oreoEaten + 1; oreoPurchase = oreoPurchase ^ 2; IF oreoEaten > 256 THEN hospital := 1; END; END;
Well... that escalated quickly ^^'

He isn't making it pure basic, you misinterpreted him he said "quite basic" which means "not very advanced" However I disagree. Any clone of smash should not be treated as a non-advanced game and should not be attempted by a beginner. You're still free to try and maybe blow my mind, though

uhhhhhh.... slow down a bit. You aren't ready for that yet. One of our most competent coders, Hayleia, is currently writing smash for 84+ and he's already busy tackling certain things. If you really want, go try it, but I'd say try to make a simple platformer first.

Oh yes, most definitely.

Seems like you're progressing nicely! I'm excited to see how this turns out. Sadly I can't try it, because my 84+ link port is broken

Hi Heiki, welcome to the forums! You will need to use Nlaunch to install the CAS software. You don't need to flash the boot2, I think. If I'm mistaken, someone please correct me.
on a side note could the above post be moved to its own thread and the image 2 posts up be downscaled? :|

Sent the Ticalc staff an e-mail with a feature suggestion for both nKaruga and Reuben Quest: TLM ASM. I hope both games get featured!
