General Calculator Help / Re: Ti nSpire CX - Help with Boot2
« on: November 10, 2014, 08:00:39 am »
You need to reinstall the OS, I think. But you can just turn the calc on and see what happens; if you need to reinstall the OS, the calc will probably warn you or explode

soru: pls fix my german if it fails :P
edit: fixed math fail
Dein Deutsch ist eigendlich ganz gut ;)
Ich mach total viele Fehler mit den Fällen. Hab in der Schule mich nie allzu viel angestrengt, sie zu lernen :P

That's some fair reasoning there, I'm interested in the answer for that.

Sure but don't you think it'd be weird if I made something for you then applied a license that prohibited you from using it? :P
License: "Every binary containing this sprite or parts of it must only be used by aeTIos." ;-) Yes, that would be weird, although legal O.o

I'll probably create the sprite tonight.
Don't try to make a good looking cursor, otherwise it won't fit to the rest :P
(Could you design some other things as well, like Dialog boxes, buttons and text input fields?)
Sure, though I already like the way those are right now :)

Actually I was meaning to design a cursor myself :)

Ah, good to hear you can connect your calc. Did it fix itself or did you have to do something?

EDIT: Saw your edit. It's perfectly fine to post a question about something that doesn't work :) even when you figure it out yourself minutes later.

The mouse behavior is good. But like Ivoah said, it's a little bit too large, and IMO it could just be a 2-color sprite instead of all this anti-aliased fancyness. Yes, I'm telling you that the cursor looks too good ;D

Let me whip up a quick example of what I'd find a good cursor.

I tried this last night, and I must say I'm impressed. It's really smooth and responsive, and the run-from-editor function is really useful. One very silly thing that could be improved (in my arrogant and honest opinion) is the mouse pointer; IMO it doesn't really fit in with the rest of the program.

But put that at the bottom of your todo list :P

I think I've tried every key. However, if you need some key combo then it's going to be very hard to exit because you get squared as much possibilities <_<
It doesn't help that all documentation on the program is in chinese. My chinese is very, very rusty. (read: i cant chinese)

Got a new version from LDStudios that made the low graphics mode completely unnecessary. :)

*necro alert* I just tried this out and I can't find a way to exit the program D: It looks really awesome though. Whether or not this is gonna be a keeper is dependent on whether or not you can quit the program.
