TI-Nspire / Re: LuaZM-like interpreter for nspire?
« on: March 31, 2014, 05:03:52 pm »
So, go for the ndless lua extensions. The thing that's on top of my list is key repeat. I'd murder for that, really. (well, not really, but you get the point)

That's most likely gotta have to do with the input function. When I played with it, I got all sorts of weirdness, including glitched screens, BLODs, gamma ray bursts er RAM clears, etc.
The function appears to write to a ram area pointed to by A, so you first have to create a temp appvar or so, and make A point at it. (appvars are heaven)

I think I also have like 23800 bytes of ram. might just be the VAT being real big though.

I don't see how a big bunch of keypress checks hurts a program? Most of the time you shouldn't have your keychecks in a while loop unless you consider the big loop to be it.

Just read through it. And while I am happy to read that TI values our contributions, I also have to agree with what LDebroux said: don't expect sudden policy changes and stuff, especially regarding the nspire line. Which I'm sad about.
Tho I hope I'm wrong.
Message to TI: at least give us key repeat in Lua! :P

I'd also be OK with that. Thing is, I hate event based programming. It makes things complicated for me.
Inb4 adriweb walks in and starts praising event based programming :p

Gaming Discussion / Wanting to trade Mirror's Edge - Steam
« on: March 31, 2014, 03:02:28 am »
So. Mirror's Edge gets me completely motion sick so I figured I'd get rid off it. I want to trade it for another game. If you'd like Mirror's Edge, drop the game you wanna trade it for here.
FYI: Mirror's Edge is €9.99 on Steam.

Well, the 84 is one of the more programmable calcs in TI's calculator line.

TI Z80 / Re: holster for ti 84
« on: March 29, 2014, 05:18:39 am »
That's fairly easy. If you have sturdy fabric, thread, those sewing needles, scissors, and a brain, you can make one yourself. You'll need to take the calc and sorta fit the fabric around it.  Unfortunately, I can't help you with the fabric because I have no clue what you need.
If you're not the creative type, there are plenty neat holster like things available on the web.

Or just put it in your pocket.
