Trapped for the TI-Nspire and TI-89 / Re: Block Dude 2: Trapped for TI-89 Titanium and TI-Nspire« on: September 19, 2010, 05:21:39 pm »
1.7 compatible version uploaded in the beta releases thread. I have not made too much progress on this lately. As I predicted, I was killed with school work during the first two weeks. The amount of work is cooling off slightly now, so I have had some time to program. Mainly, I have been working on Chip's Challenge, playing around with the new Ndless (this has taken up a lot of my programming time), and experimenting with a possible new project.
EDIT: I should note that I really don't have too much more work with the game itself (only have to add levels and fix a few bugs). The level editor might come later though if I lack motivation to write one. 1009

This version works with Ndless 1.7. Also, I believe I added level 2 in this version.

Chip's Challenge for Ti-Nspire / Re: Chips Challenge for TI-Nspire« on: September 19, 2010, 02:56:45 pm »
Well, that is kinda small because (1) There is almost nothing to the actual game engine (it only checks if you hit a wall or not) This will be much more complex when I add more things (2) I have not done anything regarding things like monsters (these could pose a challenge to me) (3) that "level" is only a 15x15 array. The actual levels are much larger.
I have no idea how large this will be when finished. 1012

Ballz: A remake of this game in C for the TI-89. I think I still have the source somewhere, but I doubt I will ever release it. I had it complete, with the exception of (1) the stars in the levels and (2) I only implemented about 1/3 of the levels. Also, the physics were pathetic. One good thing, the speed was 9000x better than that BASIC version.

Ndless / Re: Ndless 1.7 for TI-Nspire« on: September 19, 2010, 12:04:38 pm »For the spreadsheet columns, a workaround, I believe, is to name them before installing Ndless; they will not "change" just by installing Ndless, only new ones go to theta. Also, I have found that this affects all non-single letter variables in any app. For example, if I type, in a calculator app, "Define LibPub b(x)=x+5", this will show up in the catalog as "b", but if I type "Define LibPub btest(x)=x+5, it shows up as theta". A workaround for the catalog programs would be just to name everything with single letter variables, and put a comment in the first of the program saying what it actually is to show up in the program description in the catalog. 1014

Hopefully, a stable version will be out soon! 1015

Here is a much better screenshot of this. I put a slight key delay in and I made it so your current position is a gray square (the other gray squares act like walls).

Trapped for the TI-Nspire and TI-89 / Re: Block Dude Nspire« on: September 19, 2010, 08:59:16 am »A version of this game compatible with Ndless 1.7 has been uploaded to ticalc.org.Cool. Will you keep the Ndless 1.1 version around, though, in case some ppl can't use Ndless 1.7 for any reason? Well, since Ndless 1.7 hasn't even been officially released yet, I have to keep the 1.1 versions for now. Hopefully, I will try to still compile a 1.1 version for all of my programs in the future when Ndless 1.7 officially comes out. 1018

The LED does not work correctly with Ndless 1.7. I can't even get it to light by directly writing to the address with calc84's console program.
