I don't think TI-Boy is dead. I remember calc84 talking about updates he was makeing to it a few weeks back. Also, this was backuped on calc84's flash drive, so it was not lost when his computer crashed.

OS 2.53 broke many programs for the 84 Nspire 84 emulator is not too good... No 89 OS update in about 6 years (maybe that is a good thing though ) Also, I would be careful using things like no programming support because some teachers might think that this is a good thing. I will try to think of more faults later! (I have to go eat soon)

In the e-mail I got from TI today (regarding the 84+ keypad w/ the Nspire CAS), TI said that the "educational market" is a great force in determining what they add to their products. I am sure they will consult teachers before they think of adding more programming capabilities.

bwang, does the Makefile in skeleton.zip support YAGARTO 4.5.0? I was just looking at it (when I get my computer working again, I am going to start using the skeleton for my projects instead of the folder directly in Ndless), and I noticed that the prefix "arm-elf-..." is used. If I am not mistaken, YAGARTO 4.5.0 uses "arm-none-eabi-...".

any news about ndless 2.0 yet??
There have not been any status updates on Ndless 2.0 for a while now If Ndless 2 is ever released, I am predicting that we will find out about it for the first time just a few days before it is released, because the developers have to remain quiet on any exploits found so TI cannot patch them.

Well, even if getkey is added, I doubt it will do much for Nspire BASIC programs. There are still no drawing routines, which would make game programming kinda hard, and there are already the geometry features for drawing circles/squares and such, so there is not a need at all to add them, except for programming.

I just recieved a report on the IRC that this program crashes when it runs on the Nspire CAS. I am assuming that this is simply caused becaues the wrong os.h file was used, but it might take a few days to fix as I had a nasty virus on my computer today, and I had to reset, loosing all of my files. I will try to fix this as soon as possible. Also, I just realized the other day that there was a kinda major feature from the original block dude that I overlooked in this version--the ability to scroll around the level. I almost had this working last night, but I lost this, so I will add this when I update with a working CAS version on ticalc.org.

Over here on both Staples website and stores, a TI-84+ is $149 and at Wal-Mart it's $170. A TI-Nspire is $185 at Staples, although for now there's a $20 rebate so it's $165
Wow! That is a huge difference. I have seen the 84+ for as low as $90 in the United States during the back to school sales. It is sad that there is such a price difference.

Make sure you are using Ndless Version 1.1. The previous version did not have this file.
EDIT: While reading the IRC logs, I saw that you downloaded DevKitARM (I think that is the name?) I am not sure if that is compatible with nspire-gcc. It might require YAGARTO. Likewise, make sure the path to DevKitARM is in your path variable. If not, just add the /bin directory of DevKitARM to your path variable using process described in the tutorial.

Pretty nice! What's that line of sprites to the complete rigth of the map, though?
A metal wall. They cannot be destroyed by bombs like everything else.
