" Well, considering some of the other things they have done in the past, you never know. 1323

lol. I e-mailed them asking how to downgrade, seeming like I didn't even know Ndless existed (I asked how to downgrade to 1.3) and they just said it is not possible without supplying any good reason.
Also, they will never respond to your e-mail again, and if they do the response will be similar. 1324

I would love to have the CAS OS on the non CAS.
It is one of the most anti-TI things we can do. 1325
Miscellaneous / Re: SAT crap« on: July 19, 2010, 10:54:44 pm »
I have not take the SATs yet (next year), but I remember reading somewhere that the longer an essay is, the higher the score, even if the shorter one is better. (This is not an official rule - it just happens). Do you need a higher score for your college? If so, you can take the SAT again and use score choice and only focus on the writing part.

critor, is it even possible to dump the recent (2010) Diags software. I would think that they only made the new touchpads in 2010 that do not support Ndless.

General Calculator Help / Re: 68k Flash Apps?« on: July 19, 2010, 08:47:46 pm »For Nspire dev, it will depend of how TI behaves, I think (and if Ndless 2 comes out) This is what I fear about the Nspire. Although a good percentage of us now can use Ndless on our calcs and can make/run ASM/C programs, when new Touchpad nspires rise to dominance and outnumber the clickpads, Ndless may be blocked completly. This could destroy the TI community if TI ever decides to retire Z80 calcs. 1328

From my brothers (5-08):
TI-NSPIRE DIAG DATE:2007-12-18 1.3.2406 ESC to EXIT Enjoy I can't get the dump of this b/c he is on OS 2.0 and he might get mad at me for downgrading, so I will have to wait until he is gone. 1329
Other Calculators / Re: Nspire diagnostic software dumper« on: July 19, 2010, 08:16:56 pm »It may be usefull to run the dumper severall times... (I was reported that it had rebooted the calculator many times, and that without changing anything it suddenly worked...) That is what happened to me the first time I ran it, the second time, it worked fine. EDIT: critor, my nspire datestamp said 2008 I already sent the dump. My brothers was made in 5-2008 (mine in 5-2009). He has OS 2.0 on it, but he isn't using it during the summer and I could easily take it, install 1.1 and ndless, dump the diagnostic software, and put 2.0 back on it if needed. 1330
Other Calculators / Re: Nspire diagnostic software dumper« on: July 19, 2010, 07:31:55 pm »Never mind, I recompiled the program from source and it worked. I've e-mailed the dump. It's supposed to be 640 KB, right? That was the size of mine. Glad you got it to work! 1331

Those calculators look very nice! I would love to get my hands on one of them. I keep watching eBay, but nothing ever shows up.

bwang, are you sure you have it in the Ndless folder. I had it in a different folder and it didn't work at first.

critor, do we know if the touchpad is compatible with OS 1.1. I have a touchpad for my clickpad. Would you like me to test it?
