Just a quick comment, if you want a color screen and a CAS, the Nspire CX is not that bad.  It is very limited in programming, which is a major drawback, but it does provide both of the above options! :)

I would recommend an 89 personally! ;)

I actually considered trying a case swap once!  I love how the wikipedia article on the TI-89 specifically mentions a case swap with a TI-83! :P

Beautiful!  I do hope it will be able to work on the CX; Color Videos would be nothing short of amazing to watch!  Also, I think I calculated that the CX memory size would be able to store nearly a half hour of video if stored in black and white like on the normal Nspire!

This is a pretty good idea, I might look into it.  I have been very stressed IRL lately and I have had very little time to pursue my projects.  Hopefully, I will have more time in the near future!

I never made a block dude 1 for the 89, but there are several versions of it already available.  I think there is even one with a level editor!
