http://www.mediafire.com/file/i7i4ca1qfqy4tix/nPlayer.zipThere is the beta test file! If someone using Windows XP and someone using Windows Vista could test this and tell me if it works, I would appreciate it greatly! NOTE: When converting the video, use the setting 240:176, not 320:240 as stated in the instruction guide. (Likewise, there is no frame limit in this version (the guide states it is something like 1500).

Be warned, your promotions are only temporary in order for the fake news to be a success! Congrats on being promoted!

As for Chinese characters, I found there are many differences between os 2.1 and os 3.0, since two os have different fonts of Chinese, so the character map of chinese must be different in os 3.0. By the way it's really a mess for Chinese characters on Nspire...
I've dumped and looked through the entire TI-Nspire character set, but I haven't ever seen any Chinese characters in the TI-Nspire system. Is there a special version of it that includes them?
If I am not mistaken, the Chinese Language stuff was removed from OS 3.0 (TI produces a "Chinese Language" edition of the Nspire CX, see TI's china website for more info)

is it just me or there is just the first level? this is like a demo game released before the release of the game itself to leave the gamers expecting the great game comming :p
The version on ticalc and in the omni archives (not the download in this thread) are the full versions. The ones on TI-Bank and the download in this thread seem to be the Level 1 demo I posted yesterday.

Is there any way to go back to specific levels? and I thought they do restart. 15 puzzle does
15 puzzle restarts every time because it calls the reset function each time you open the document. Block Dude does the same, except it calls it for the current value of the variable "currlevel" which will not change.

Wow this is great. Do you have Level Keys set up yet?
I don't think there will be any need for level keycodes in this. Closing/Reopening the document does not change the position in the game, thus it will be "saved" at your respective spot. You will be able to press "Enter" to restart a level, or "A" to go back to level 1.

Although Lua Programming on the Nspire was only discovered a few short days ago, a quick explosion of new games for the Nspire has come with its discovery! First we have Goplat's original 15 puzzle game, the first Nspire Lua game: Secondly, apcalc has been working on porting Block Dude Nspire to Lua: Finally, ExtendeD, author of Ndless, has been working on a Minesweeper clone, 9sweeper: We hope to see more progress on these games, and new developments for the Nsprie in the near future!

COLORS!!!! (Thanks to Adriweb for the "dude" sprite! ) EDIT: Also, here is a beta release in case anyone wants to play with it/look at the source (the color pics don't look all that great in B&W; this will eventually be fixed) Press Enter to reset the level (or play again after you won)

Right now I'm working on making a TNS (that was created with Lua2TI or the likes) to a Lua source file.
Sounds good! This might really come in handy, as I can't seem to be able to extract the code from the Periodic Table (although others, like 15 Puzzle, will work).
