Hi!  Welcome to Omnimaga! :)

This looks very nice, I will most certainly try it out sometime in the next few days! :)

In order to attach a file to you post, you need to have at least 5 posts, I believe.

News / Re: Insights into the Nspire CAS+ OS
« on: March 18, 2011, 07:04:39 pm »
what is the cas+ ? is that the cx version of the cas? cause ive never heard of the cas + andi have the latest nspire cas...

The CAS+ is a "prototype" model of the CAS that was made before the actual production of the TI-Nspire CAS.  Many of them leaked to the public, and they are frequently sold on ebay for about 50 dollars.

Math and Science / Re: Happy Pi Day
« on: March 15, 2011, 05:57:27 pm »
It's silly to celebrate 3/14 just because the ratio of a circle's circumference to diameter is '3.14...'. A circle is most naturally defined by its radius, not its diameter ((x - x0)2 + (y - y0)2 = r2), so we should really be celebrating 6/28.

Wow, that article is quite convincing! :)

Thank you for posting, Goplat!

On the news, there was a "Pi Day" party at a local school where they stated the definition of pi using the diameter of a circle.  My mom yelled at me when I started to criticize the segment! :P

Math and Science / Happy Pi Day
« on: March 14, 2011, 07:01:13 am »
Today is quite possibly one of the greatest holidays of the year... Pi Day!!!!!!!

I wish everyone here on Omnimaga has a great Pi Day!!

Does anyone's school do anything special for Pi Day, or do you do anything on your own?  As for me, my mom bought a pi(e) yesterday to celebrate with! :)  Sadly, I don't think my school will be doing anything. :(

I tried the Trapped-Touchpad.tns, but it doesn't work on the touchpad
It crashes when the firsh message appears.
I'm using 2.1 OS and Ndless 2.0

Yes, I do know these bugs are present. :(

My life has been very hectic over the past few weeks, particularly this last week.  I will try to fix these bugs as quickly as I possibly can. :)

I know exactly what is causing this, I just need to get around to fixing it...

Is yagarto located in /Program Files (x86)?  If so, move it elsewhere, as this caused problems for me when I set up Eclipse for the first time (don't forget to adjust you're path, too)

Also, this business with the Nuclear Power Plant being affected does not look very good.  I'm sure it will be fixed, but personally, I don't like the idea of an earthquake right near a power plant! :(

I do hope all affected peoples by this are ok. :(

O_o...
But that doesn't tell me why the lobster is Blue.

Well, after an actual picture of Netham45 was revealed, this fact was quite obvious! ;)

Also, at least we are not losing any of the screen resolution.  As per TI's website, it is still 320x240.  Likewise, I will be willing to give up screen size if the thing fits in my pocket! :P

EDIT:  Snake_X, can you provide any information on this?

Computer Programming / Re: Looking for info...about java

I used this textbook to learn Java, and using it has made me proficient enough to do good on the AP Computer Science Test:
