Hi! Welcome to Omnimaga! At the current point, gbc4nspire is not compatible with the touchpad. It would require another hex-edit to fix this, as the source code to gbc4nspire has been lost.

Oh my. In that case, I'd like to request a name change to ztrumpetloli...
I think lolitrumpet sounds better!

Good to see this! For my part, I will try to at least idle in IRC more often in case there are any spam attacks. Congrats of being promoted to all!

You have to hold down the keys until a menu shows up (or, at the point where the loading bar is about half way through). Also, make sure you are using the correct key combinatin (if you are using a clickpad keypad, you must use home, p, enter, on).
After holding the keys down, hold them until a menu shows up. At this menu, choose the option to delete the operating system. Then, send a new OS (I assume that you are using the touchpad, send OS 2.0 or later, else it will not work).

Actually I'm wondering why there is a TI-Nspire.tnc file on my non-CAS nspire.... (/phoenix/install)
The *.tnc extension is actually "universal" between both of the Nspires. The .tno extension is "exclusive" to the non-CAS only.

Does this mean no more 84+ emulator anymore. Not that TI would make a good emulator for a color screen anyways.
If there are no removable keypads, then yes this would be true. But we cannot yet completely confirm that the keypads will not be removable.

Seems as if the keyboard isn't replaceable anymore.
That is what I was discussing on IRC earlier. I don't see any spot where it would be "possible" to remove the keypad.

Well, except for those who will be involved in said cracking. But that should go without saying.
Exactly why I still want one!

+1 Art_of_camelot. Until the thing is proved open (either by design, which is very unlikely, or by force), I think that we, in the community, should urge against buying it.
Sadly, I have to agree with this. NON-CAS PICS:

Nope, you can install any OS.

What keypad are you using?
If the clickpad: Hold down Home+Enter+P until a menu shows up, delete the OS, and resend it If the touchpad: Hold down doc+ee+enter until a menu shows up, delete the OS, and resend it
For reference, you cannot install Ndless 1.7 on OS 2.0.1. You need Ndless 2.0 (which is unreleased an only available to developers).
