Hi! Welcome to Omnimaga!
This is not possible on the Nspire, but it has been done before, namely with the TI-89 series of calculators. A C-Development environment program, named GTC, was made that allowed C development directly on the calc.
I wouldn't say it is not possible. Gcc and the various tools it requires just need to be ported over. (Not that I'm going to do it or anything, but still,it is a possibility)
When I said it is "not possible", I meant that it is not possible at this time! Sorry for any confusion I may have caused.

The other day, I finally got around to releasing the Nspire version of Trapped (The 68k version is still in development, see below). Trapped is a sequel to Block Dude, featuring many new game pieces, including bombs, metal walls, and ladders. This game features 5 of the original 11 levels (I can easily add more later if I feel like it!). Here is the ticalc.org description Block Dude 2: Trapped is based on Justin Shaler's "Trapped!" for the TI-83/84 family of calculators ported to the TI-Nspire calculator. "Trapped!" is a sequel to the popular graphing calculator game "Block Dude" by Brandon Sterner. New features in this game added to the original Block Dude are bombs and ladders! This game features beautiful 16-level gray scale graphics and five of the original levels!
Trapped is also in the Omnimaga archives! As for the TI-89 version, there is one bug with the graphics that I still have to fix. As soon as I do so, that will be released too!

To confuse people, I always like saying, "Solve using the fact that the product of the means is equal to the product of the extremes"

Yeah, that might be an issue. Although, I think those tutorials still do apply to a good degree. GTC is based on the TIGCC libs, which is what techno plaza bases their tutorials on.

As for programming in C on a calculator, these tutorials exist for the TI-89 (actually, I used them myself to learn C): http://www.technoplaza.net/programming/

As of yet, I am not quite sure that this method can work for copying a CAS. I have been completely killed with school work this week (all of my teachers thought it would be lovely to finish work before President's Weekend...), but I plan on investigating more over the weekend. The only thing that is bothering me now is the sake of whether the differences between the non-CAS and the CAS are in fact located in the /phoenix/ directory. There might be further protection, blocking this from being possible. I actually think the method used here might be somewhat legal! Not that TI would like it, but the program only patches the OS itself, the user has to give it the appropriate files to patch it with (I should note, it is not the easiest task in the world to retrive them if you are not familiar with the Nspire OS). I don't see anything illegal with that!

No! I just checked my Block Dude folder, and I seem to have lost all of the image files of the sprites used in Block Dude. If you want, feel free to use the sprite from block dude (or edit it to your liking), but I doubt it will be much good with only the raw hex data (available in the source file). EDIT:Attached is a new brick sprite I quickly drew. It is a bit better than that stone, but it could probably still use a little work!

Well, here is my try at a stone texture. I know it is terrible, but I though I would try to contribute!
