This looks very nice jhgenius01! I am still very impressed with the excellent graphics you are able to produce in Nspire BASIC! Considering your excellent work with such limited commands, I could only imagine how great Nspire BASIC programs would be if they actually had graphics commands!

In order to use Nleash/downgrade to OS 1.7, you have to update to OS 2.1 first, run Nleash, then send OS 1.7. That should work for you!

You should not use OS 1.7 with the touchpad, it will not work. Send OS 2.0.1 (not 2.0.0) in the same way you sent OS 1.7 to your calc.

What OS do you need? Did you try 2.0.1?

First, you need a copy of Ndless 2.0. More information on this can be found in the Ndless thread here. For gbc4nspire, because you have a touchpad, you cannot use the version on ticalc.org. Use the version here: http://ourl.ca/3840/166688Good luck!

Cool, is it for Ndless 1.7 or 2.0?
If I am not mistaken, all files built for Ndless 1.7 will work on Ndless 2.0, and all built for 2.0 will work on 1.7. The only reason this would not work with Ndless 1.7 is the fact that OS 1.7 does not support the clickpad.

Ok, OS version 1.3 does not have this function. I would recommended updating you OS to version 2.0.1.60 (I would not recommend using the latest version, 2.1 for various reasons). Download here: http://ourl.ca/7373Then, send it using the Nspire Computer Link Software from TI's website.

What OS do you have?
In OS 2.0+, factor is menu, 2, 3, could you have accidentally pressed 3?

Welcome to Omnimaga! If you have an Nspire CAS, use the exact( function. If you have a regular Nspire, there is not "exact" way to do this, but your best bet will be pressing menu, 2, 2 to get an "approximate fraction" tool. This is not as accurate as the CAS exact( function, but, in most cases, it will do the job! You might get an answer closer to what you want by lowering the accuracy of the calculation of the fraction (from 5*10^-14 to something lower) Good luck!

I opened my Prizm and it appears you can not get to the lcd due to the way the screen and lcd cables are attached, but you could get to the keyboard if you lift up the main chip. I didn't do this though because I wasn't sure if I would be able to get hem back in.
I have never had the nerve to even think of taking one of my calcs apart. I am sure I would break something!

Just a little update here. Sadly, I have not made any progress on this or Trapped since my last post. Ever since the end of Christmas break, my teachers have been slaughtering me with work, as with upcoming state testing, I will be losing a month of classes (particularly in AP classes, where not only will we lose a month, we have to finish a month earlier to begin with ). I still have ideas brewing in my head all the time for both this and Trapped, and, as soon as I get a little free time again, work will resume at full force!

Sorry for the late response. This tutorial should work for developing files for the Nspire with OS 2.0, provided that you have Ndless 2.0 on the calculator!
