Where did you get gbc4nspire from? If you are using the old 1.1 version, it will not work. Try downloading a fresh copy from ticalc.org.

1.7 os works perfectly with computer link 1.4, but Ndless doesnt work. I tried draggin the files and opening it, it doesnt work. Do you know where I can download Ndless for os 1.7?
Make sure the two files, ndless_installer.tns and ndless_resources.tns are in the same folder on the calculator. In addition, Ndless 1.7 will not install if the calc is plugged into the computer. You have to remove the USB wire first. Hope this helps!

Do we need a specific versions of Computer Link Software, by the way? I recall OS 1.1 requiring Software 1.3 or something. Current version is 1.4.
Not that I know of. The only issue with the computer link software was that Ndless 1.0 needed Computer Link 1.3. As far as I know, I don't think the Computer Link has an effect on which Operating Systems you can send.

You can go to OS 1.7 regardless of what OS you have, even with 2.1, without a special process. Just send it as you would with any other OS upgrade/downgrade!

Yep, it will work fine, although it will look a bit strange with the light blue keypad and the dark blue calc.

The light blue Nspire, by default, comes with the clickpad. Actually, the clickpad will work with any non-CAS TI-Nspire. Likewise, the touchpad will also work on any non-CAS calculator, provided that it has OS 2.0 or greater!

Okay. Just wondering because I'm new to the Nspire, due to me losing my faithful TI-84 Plus Silver... With a few Axe source codes I never finished lol.
Sad to hear you lost your Axe projects. But there are upsides: now you can play Game Boy games, NES games, and Doom (well, this is only at alpha stage) on your Nspire!

Thanks
edit: I believe I remember someone saying that arrows have been mapped to 1-9? Does this work in gbc4nspire or not?
I don't think so, but I can't say I have tried it myself. I am almost sure everything has to be rebuilt to support the new arrows, though. EDIT: 700 Posts! . I am now officially a calculator "Addict"!

I read through the whole topic... And I have just upgraded to 2.0.1.60 and have built ndless2.0r360 and I ALWAYS either get a "Not Supported" message, reboot, or freeze. It never succeeds. The file is named "ndless_installer" in the root directory, and its not connected to the computer. Any help guys?
If you get a Not Supported Message, Ndless probably has been installed!

I keep getting this error. Is there a particular folder the .wad.tns is supposed to be in? I looked at the source and it seems to be trying to load .wad.tns files from the current directory, but I can't find where the current directory is set.
I think you have to send it to the root directory. Sadly, I can't figure out how to do this on the emulator (when I try to copy-paste it, the emulator crashes).

^^ Don't bother. PTT is there for a reason. You're testing, not playing GBC.
True, but sometimes you need gbc during a test (i.e. during state tests that you are given 90 minutes to complete that only take you 20 minutes to finish).
