I know this is kinda useless now that all of this information is available on Hackspire, but I updated this to include information for Ndless 1.7 in case someone looking to set up a development environment comes across this before Hackspire.

Sad to see this happen. Bwang was a great contributer to the TI-Nspire community. I hope to seem him return in the future!

It would really be funny, if all TI-Nspire were required to have black electric tape on the LED in order to be used in exams! (like the HP-48/49 in some states)
Epic fail from TI...
And just think, if they hadn't prevented downgrading on OS 2.1...

WOAH! Doom for the Nspire! This looks amazing! (It puts Block Dude to shame ) I would love to try the current build! Also, I can make animated screenshots for you!

ooh! I knew about the LED since the 1st nspire, and wow I must say this would be pretty cool! Although.. wouldnt you have to memorize the led sequences to decode it upon looking at it?
Nope, Norse has a built in decoder. You just have to type in the colors you see and it decodes the message for you!

Ah ok but why would keys work fine for the rest of the game, but not the passwords? Didn't you use some sort of key remapping?
This is caused because the game itself uses much less (and more general) keys than the passwords use, which were randomly selected and make use of a lot of the keys, including keys not present on the touchpad. Actually, I think I did have to change a key in the game to get it to work on the touchpad (menu, not home, now must be used to restart a level).

64. Ask them when they are going to release something 65. Insist that they are coding in Assembly when they are coding in C

Yep, I've been using Ndless 1.4 for about a month now. Works great, but you still need it connected to something over USB to work properly. Even though I have a non-cas, I use 1.4 because the 84+ mode is more stable.
I think Ndless 1.4 was updated to use the same core as Ndless 1.7/2.0, so it now does not require the USB to work. I think the latest version is on page two of the thread at UTI.

I think this one requires calculus (and a calculator, but we all have that ) to solve. It was the only fair question I could think of. The number of new members who join Omnimaga on any given day since January 1, 9001 is defined by the function m(t)=√(√(x)), where t is the time in days since 1/1/9001. How many members will Omnimaga have at midnight on 2/1/9001, assuming that there were already 666 members on 1/1/9001? Show your work, but you can use a calculator to do some of the math that is almost impossible to do by hand. Have fun!

I am working on fixing the password issues. Right now, I am kinda busy with stupid Christmas assignments from school. As soon as I get a minute or two, I will change all of the passwords to be touchpad compatible (I will leave the old ones there too, so people with the old codes will still be able to get to their level).

I posted an updated version of Block Dude in the Block Dude thread here (in the "Trapped for TI-Nspire and 89 subforum). I will try to get around to posting updated versions of the Trapped and Chip's Challenge betas. I don't think any other programs (gbc4nspire, NESpire) have been updated yet.

The key-mapping differences between the touchpad and clickpad caused this. For example, if a password contained the key "4", it now will not work because the "4" key on the touchpad represents the left arrow key. Likewise, if a key such as "Pi" was used, this key does not exist on the touchpad, causing the password to break.

I don't think that this mode has to be added. In school, I know that there is a near-zero possibility that I would ever be able to do this (this is really the only time I have my calculator and am with other people at the same time). I think it would be better to focus on making the single player version better than working on a multiplayer version that would rarely be used.
